I shop here only because its close. HOWEVER, parking is AWFUL, and an ordeal every time. The stores manager plays LOUD "pro-America" music (the same music, month-after-month-after-month) as you enter the store, classic standards like Kate Smiths "God Bless America". Once in the store, the store manager interrupts any semblance of focus on shopping with incessant "Shoppers!" announcements across his public address system. Hes unique in that he mumbles into the microphone, creating a completely inarticulate and almost indecipherable announcement of "this or that" special, always somewhere on the other side of the store from where you are standing. The produce has a feel that it was bought second hand, that its "about a day" from beginning to rot. We eat a lot of organics, and the selection here is not that great. Often, the organic potatoes that we find will be rotting on the shelf. This reminds me that at this store, I am very particular to check food expiration or "best by" dates, as Ive more than once bought something that ended up already being EXPIRED (but I just hadnt noticed). Interesting, they have complex thinking about where to stock "organics" in this store. For some items, they are distributed in the normal areas of the store, adjacent to non-organic items of the same food stuff. In other cases, organic food is shuffled all the way to the BACK of the store, in whats called the "Nutrition Center". Check out lines are almost always painful at this store, too. And the other patrons walking around, shopping: Many will give you the incentive to stop eating all together.

The store is nice and new, the prices are good. The Caribbean Grill I thought was awesome until today. The "Meal Deal" you pick a meat & two side for $6/$8 great deal, well today I got a few "meal deals" for my job and also got two to take home so i didnt have to cook dinner since i wasnt feeling well... i ordered two Parmesan Crusted Chicken as the sign said in front of the Parmesan Crusted chicken... well it wasnt chicken it was Parmesan crusted TILAPIA and Im allergic! Luckily i realized with the first bite when my tongue went numb! i called to let them know what happened and speak to a manager.. i was on the phone minutes and transferred over 10x before i even got sent to the right department let alone got a manager on the phone...When i finally got a manager on the phone he apologized offered me a gift card and my $$ back for what i was told was chicken..He said when the 2nd shift came in they realized they put the wrong sign in-front of the fish... they were serving fish to people all day with a sign that said chicken....They need to be more careful!

Okay so if Im paying full price for my groceries (most of the items I buy are cheaper elsewhere), why should I have to bag my own groceries while the girl ringing me up chats with her coworker while the other girl leans against the register with her chin resting on her forarms? Not to mention, half the time I come in this place, everyone looks and acts MISERABLE! Im going to go out on a limb here and blame the awful customer service and lack of smiles on UPPER MANAGEMENT. Treat your people right and youll do better business. Im done. I cant shop here anymore. I am seriously depressed now. Oh, Im also tired from bagging MY OWN GROCERIES! Step up your game Shoprite. You can do better than this. Youve gotta recognize what type of impact you have on the community.

I remember growing up with a Shop-Rite that was so small that it was eventually converted to a CVS. This enormous store is beautiful, the white tile floor will dazzle your eyes with its sparkling shine and the employees are friendly and helpful. I felt as though I had entered a Whole Foods rather than a Shop-Rite. It was especially nice to hear patriotic music on the loudspeaker when I entered the store, my assumption is that this was due to it being Veterans Day but perhaps this is played on a regular basis. I highly recommend this location!

The layout is a little confusing to me as Im more used to Shop Rite closer to my home. However, theres a wide selection of ready to eat cooked foods and produce. Im a little disappointed with "international isle" which only has a little bit of Mexican, Japanese and Thai foods (no Polish, Hungarian or Kosher section). At the register I got charged twice for the same product, but when I went to customer service to get my money back, there was no problem with it.

I really enjoy shopping here. The selection is good, store is clean, and staff has always been very friendly. The deli has a good grab and go section if there is a line and you dont want to wait, the prepared food and sushi are tasty, and there is a Dunkin Donuts as you enter if you want to have some coffee while you shop. Ive always been able to find what I need, with some rarer finds in the international aisle and nutrition section.

This store is immaculate and well laid out. The staff (for the most part) is very friendly, helpful and courteous, with a few exceptions. The worst part of the experience here is the parking. Its best that you arrive here when the store first opens so you can get in and out; otherwise, plan on parking further back in the lot and having to navigate lot traffic.

Get it on map right. You keep sending orders to Aberdeen. And when I put Hazlet in I end up in Aberdeen store Al Pelletier. One more thing its probably the supervises not the worked. So super start doing your jobs and stop just collecting paychecks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Almost every time I go in here the cashiers are sick and coughing all over my groceries as they ring me up. Do the managers at this location make their employees work while they have the plague???? Please consider the well being of both ur employees and customers!!!!!

It is the best of what is close by but that doesnt say much. Whole Foods in Middletown or hopefully a Wegmans soon is best. Their organic produce prices are higher than Whole Foods and the quality is far inferior to what you can have at Whole Foods as well.

Not crazy about the layout of the store. The paper goods and organics sections seem like its in a different store it doesnt flow right. Same with the freezer section, there is no smooth traffic pattern in this store. And the parking lot is just as chaotic.

Crazy large and confusing store. Have gotten more soon to expire fresh goods there than at any other ShopRite, probably not fast enough turnover because of big inventory?? Spending more at Costco than we ever have just to avoid the place!!!

This ShopRight has a wider selection of food and household goods than the competing Stop & Shop further down RT35, but it is harder to enter the parking lot, especially during rush hour. It is best to enter off of RT35 instead of Hazlet Rd.

Extremely bad produce products. Hardly nothing healthy to eat on the go.They would make a killing if they had healthy food on the go cause theyre right next to the parkway. Millions of people go to work passing through here.

Shoprite is always good however today in the produce dept. Things did not look to fresh. This time of year seems to me that most things are in season. Went to a competitor for a better selection and fresher veggies.
