The deli department doesnt change their gloves and I made a comment to them about it. My review is regarding the old roast beef I got yesterday. I toasted bread, washed some arugula after getting home at 11:00pm from school/work and I was ready to make a sandwhich. All I wanted was a nice pink roast beef sandwhich, instead I got a gross brownish roast beef. It looked like it was sitting for days on a counter some here, it ruined my appetite. the best part was, there were a few pink slices in the first few slices of the pound , which goes to show you, they gave me the old meat to get the most out of their product, and threw some fresh slices on top. The nerve!

Everything in this supermarket- and I mean everything- is AT LEAST 30 to 40% more than the same items would be in a normal supermarket. This is for two reasons. First, the Pathmark and A&P closed, so there are no supermarkets down around this area, except for Top Tomato, and I dont count them. Second, everyone down here is an overpaid city worker, so they don;t mind being charged exorbitant prices since money is no object for them.

Self checkouts often failing. Staff just sits there and talks to each other. You feel like youre intruding just by going through the checkout line...Not a fan. I like the specialty products though

Decent selection, kinda pricey. There arent many other grocery stores in the area. Good for a quick trip but I prefer Stop&Shop or ShopRite.
