Do not go there.. ON 2/22/16 I went to TATTOOS EXPRESS and requested that Mr. Johnnie (business owner) perform a permanent eyebrows tattoo called Hair stoke or in Spanish (Cejas pelo a pelo). I showed the Tattoo artist a picture of what design and style I wanted and Johnnie said there was not a problem he was going to tattoo my eyebrows the way I wanted and that he performs this type of eyebrows tattoos. First attempt to tattoo my eyebrows was 2/24/16 the outcome was horrible i didnt like it, after the ink peeled off. Second attempt was on 3/9/16 for a retouch I told him how dissatisfied I was with the job he did and he attempted fix it one more time unsuccessfully. I even showed him the Picture I originally presented as an example of my request and I asked him why he can’t just do it the way and style I asked for. He replied to go back for another retouch. Well the appointment was for 3/23/16 however, this is my face and I dont want to keep exposing it to someone who does not have a clue of what he is doing. Every time I called to make an appointment for a retouch his staff would give me a hard time. For the past 2 weeks I have been having nightmares and anxiety about the 3rd touch up outcome. I was afraid he will mess up my face forever and then I called him to ask for a refund on 3/22/16 at 2:00 pm and he said he will call me back and never did. I contacted another permanent makeup artist and requested that she can fix the mess Tattoo express has left on my face and she agreed. My eyebrows look good now and the new artist charged me $200. I have the pictures I used to ask Johnnie as an example what I wanted. I also have picture of what eyebrows looked like after the 2nd touch up from Tattoo express. I strongly suggest this person stops doing this type of eyebrows tattooing as he is doing nothing similar of what hair stroke is. I am also submitting a complaint to the New Jersey Consumer affairs

I"m getting a FULL BACK tattoo...a tribute to a close friend who passed. I looked at a lot of artists and had a strong concept involving marvel and DC comic characters and a very unique representation of how I wanted it portrayed. Im about 50% done with a few more sessions to go. I"m working with JOSHUA and I have to say hes been great. I wasnt expecting it to be a full back tattoo but he really took the time to hear me out and its been a good partnership. As he takes his art and craft very seriously, so do I with respect to what Im putting my body through. The crew in the shop are all great right down to the folks who work the front and help manage the shop. Ive sat for three sessions so far (5) Hours; (4) Hours; and (3) Hours and they took great care of me. I cant wait to post and share the final product, but I will say, you need to check these folks out. They know their stuff and while Im not using the other artists right now, I will be making this my place to go for other tattoos. Price is very fair, quality is great, and service is professional. I highly recommend Joshua as hes phenomenal with this tattoo hes doing for me. Super-hero and villains together united...Joshua really rocked this one folks. Go check them out.

I had been looking for a certain talent for some time now and Tattoos Express came recommended to me. I decided to check it out and it surpassed my expectations. If anyone has OCD like me, this is the place you want to go! It is so clean and the artists are extremely talented. I would not let just anyone tattoo me. Johnny covered up an old tattoo and I was so happy with his work, I just went back to get a side piece done.(I have another session before it is complete, then will post pictures) When someone sees his work on me, they compliment and are amazed at the detail. I am so happy to have walked into this shop! I am familiar with the area and have been in many of the surrounding shops.. none compare. When it comes to something permanent, I wouldnt mind paying top dollar, however they are very reasonable in their pricing. Times are tough and they do not seem to be looking to take advantage of anyone- very cool! I have seen the other artists work, and I must say.. also very impressive. Whether you are from the area (or not), trust me.. this is the place to go! i have done the homework for you lol :)

After much research I decided that Tattoos Express would be where I got my first tattoo. When I walked in the shop I felt extremely comfortable and all the staff ensured me that I was in good hands. Johnny was the one who did my tattoo and he completely exceeded my expectations, he was very personable and took his time in making sure that I got the art that I wanted. The facilities were extremely clean, he opened the needle in front of me and after each break put on new gloves and made hygene a priority. My mother also had a tattoo done by Louise at the same time and he was very personable and did a great job as well. Brenna at the front desk also offered a lot of assistance and was very sweet. I would recommend Tattoos Express to anyone interested in receiving a quality tattoo in a clean shop with great staff.

Just got a significant amount of work done and I couldnt be more pleased. The woman (Im terrible with names but she has a good amount of floural art on her collarbone and a) was incredibly cordial. As for cleanliness, this place was spotless but thankfully didnt smell like a damn hospital. Each patron is showed the equipment used to put you at ease about what is being used. Onto the artists, these guys couldnt have been more knowledgeable about their craft. I went here on a recommendation from a friend of mine and according to that work that was done by Robson, I know where Ill be headed for more! Keep up the good work folks! Everything from pricing to scheduling to ability to work and communicate was awesome. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great quality tattoo, hit them up!

I love this place! I been coming to this place for a 1 year now. My tattoo/ piercer is Robson. I got 5 piercings and 3 tattoos and I also got some touch up on my other tattoos. Robson is an amazing artist, he know what I want and pulls through and does an amazing job. The owner is also an amazing artist he did 2 piercings for me. I also brought 3 people and two got piercings with Robson and one got a tattoo by Luis. They got an amazing experience by them. I will continue to recommend this place! Tattoo Express artists are amazing the prices are also right, they dont over charge you. You guys are not going to be disappoint it ! This place is awesome

Clean place the staff goes above and beyond to make u feel comfortable. All the girls are nice and pleasant especially Jessica, shes a sweetheart and it doesnt hurt that she looks amazing. ...I had a tattoo that needed to b cover .. Josue was recommended and I wasnt disappointed . He works quickly but the speed does not take away from the quality of work . Im very happy with the outcome and cant wait to to go back and see Josue to get more work done. U cant tell I had a tattoo covered .. And more importantly Im very happy with the tattoo I have now .. The details are amazing and I would recommend Josue to anybody I know .. Worth the $$$
