DO NOT EVER BUY A PHONE FROM TARGET...not only does target not directly sell them to you it is a third party that comes in from radio ahck and if you have any problems with the phone you buy you can only return or exchange when a person from that third party is there.. I bought a new phone from there and within 2 days it starting having many mechanical issues... I went into ythe store serveral times before i got help since the third party person in only there on occasions.. Wheni finally saw him...it was then 7 days old and at that time had worse problems to the point where i couldnt even use the phone and because of a hiarline scratch on the top corner of the plastic on the phone The manager PHILLIP blamed all of the mechanical issues on that and would do nothing for me... not only would he not let me return the phone he wouldnt even exchange it out even though it was only 7 days old and had mechanical issues from day 2...; he told me he would contact his district manager to see if he could help me but after days never heard a word... now its been 2 weeks and the phone is not useable the touch screen does not work the battery only holds a charge for 6 hrs if that it calls and texts random people and turns on and off all the time.... so now that i used my upgrade on a phone that does not work and wasted $250....I am with out phone and no one at Target would help me...even the manager of target didnt even know how to get in touch with the district manager or anyone to help me. i will never shop at this target again or consider shopping at radio shack if this is the way they conduct buisness

Target will sell and charge consumers for gift cards, but they will not be able to use it. This is what happened to me when I bought them on November 24th and tried to use them at this store on November 25th. The store manager tried to use them, but was unable to. He did mentioned that customers come and conplaint about it all the time. He did gave me the 1-800 number to call. After holding for about 52 minutes, I was told that the cards cannot be used unless a consumer first opens an account. The supervisor was unable to answer why is that information is not provided to consumers before they are charged for the gift card purchase or why isnt there a link disclosing all the hassles that a consumer needs to go through. She did say, however, that if a consumers scrolls down to help, clicks on all help, scrolls the entire page until he/she finds gift cards, guesses on of the 6 options, then the consumer will be able to see that it can only be used online. The supervisor felt that that was good enough for Target. To note, consumers are made aware of these restrictions after they have made the purchase and they are told that they are non-refundable. The previous rep had indicated that the store can call an internal number and they would be given a code to be able to use the cards. I asked the rep why hadnt the store manager been trained on that solution. She did not know.

I love target. Very big fan. Unfortunately, target in East Hanover is unbelievable. The staff is very unfriendly. If you ask a question they are just rude. The customer service department. Forget it. They are as rude as they come. I had to return something and she told me I cant return it because I didnt have a receipt, even though I had my red card and they always look it up on the red card. She said to me "no, we arent taking this back- you dont have a receipt we dont take it back" there store is pretty clean & stocked. Bathrooms are old and dirty. Saw an employee one time not wash her hands and she was a cashier. I made sure to go to self check out that day. I had one coupon for a $1 off, one time I was there, they said they cant take it because they think it was a fake. I peeled the coupon off of the dog door I was buying. It was a manufacturer coupon. I showed the lady, she said that us customers arent allowed to peel them and use them the same day. What?! Are u telling me Im not allowed to save one dollar one my $40 bag of dog food. Yeah OK. Just a warming guys, target on east Hanover isnt the best, its worth the drive to rockaway. That store is amazing.

Another story of the employees running the asylum, not competent managers who keep the kiddies working there from being typical teenagers/20-something-going-nowhere-types. The cashier didnt even look at us or talk to us as we stood at the checkout, but the employees at the next register sure had her attention and our gal just shouted right past us so her friend could hear her well. Upon complaining, funny enough, the manager WAS the gal at the next register, so, needless to say, we got no apology or recognition of a problem. Simple enough, well never set foot in that store again, and neither should you. All the price reductions in the world fail to make up for how rude they were here... since the management doesnt care, well make sure anyone who reads this knows of the dead-end attitude found throughout the workers, regardless of level.

Most the staff at this target are very brisk, nearly to the point of being rude, or they are not brisk but give incomplete information. Thats saying something considering I go street shopping in China where rude gets a whole new definition at times. The associate at the fitting room and on the floor were very brisk, the checkout clerk didnt seem to want his job/didnt want to be there, and the guys in the electronics department seemed to think that tossing your chin slightly in one direction indicated which isle the item you were looking for was in. However, there are lots of clearance items and just general items on hand. So its a toss-up. As long as you dont have to interact with the staff too much you were good.

This is the absolute worst target I have ever been in! It would get zero stars if I could. Shelves are always half empty in every department, all of the clothing departments are an absolute disaster. I have repeatedly found OUT OF DATE and MOLDY food in the fresh foods section and they stopped putting sell by dates on their fresh sandwiches to go so now you have no idea how old they are. It is disgusting and dangerous. And if you go in looking for particular items, good luck.

Worst customer service out of any store Ive been to. Employees act as if them working is a gift to you, not that they are there to help you. Waited 10 minutes for an employee to "check" if they had another size and found him later talking to another employee socializing and when I approached him he said "oh yeah we didn't have that" IF This target reads reviews, why do they continue to employ jerks

There is a serious problem with your store when customers (like me) are willing to drive 20 minutes out of their way to a different Target location to avoid the your obnoxious employees. And dont get me wrong: I love target. I shop at Target like once a week. But the staff at this particular location is so rude, so openly hostile to the customers I just wont subject myself or my family to them any more.
