Produce department is sub par from what Im used to, especially compared to other Stop and Shops. If you just need the basics, its fine. The meat department is lacking as well, only having the staples. Hot sauces are limited, and considering the shopping demographics they should be catering to, thats limited as well. The Dairy department is organized strangely and will require experience or help to find things like ricotta- in an end cap adjacent to the Isle. To be honest, I would rather go somewhere else but its close enough for me to walk to so I just have given in to the fact its not great. You will find the odd surprise like creme fraiche, but trying to find a decent sopresatta? Good luck.

I went in today to buy some groceries at the self checkout. I tried using a manufacturer coupon however it did not double. As a Stop & Shop loyalty member, my coupon which was below a $1 was supposed to double. Also, the coupon did not say "can not double" so I asked a cashier for help. She was very helpful and friendly but she didnt know what to do so she asked her manager. The manager was very rude. She didnt seem to care at all. She just pointed to the coupon and said "it says you cant double coupon right here" and just left. She obviously cant read or did not read it because it did not say that at all. The manager was super rude and terrible. What a bad experience.

Understaffed, poorly lit and little consideration for employees or customers. Ive seen the people at the Customer Service desk ignore patrons to discuss the fact that the day was payday. To be fair, there have also been times where individual employees have offered help without being asked. Perhaps I should blame the Publix supermarket chain. They provide an environment, level of service and shopping experience that cannot be matched. It would be nice if Stop and Shop made an effort. Clean the store up, treat your employees like the asset they are and watch your sales increase.

Needed help finding something and when i went to the front to ask, they acted frustrated for even bothering them. Then when i asked about what i was looking for, they stated "that department is closed..." i said and, cant you help me? "Not my department, that department is closed with a nasty attitude..." I said so thats it? She like "yup" and walks off and says Ill get you a manager, waited for 20min, seems longer when you have to pee. The supervisor comes and gives me a well thought out explanation, everywhere else i go, dont get treated like that. Shoprite it is.

Worst Stop & Shop ever, dirty and nasty, cashiers do not know their jobs and need to be trained as well as management who walks around listening to music when she should be helping the cashiers who arent trained, dont ever buy pre-cut coldcuts they are horrible, they are old and when you open the package it smells bad, the store itself is filthy, 45 minutes on a check out line by the time you get up you food has been defrosted, they need to go work up the street at the Aldi which is just as bad!!!!

In general its an OK place to shop but usually overcrowded long lines as you can expect with any urban supermarket but this seems to be a fly problem in the deli department went back there they are flies landing all over the slices and flying around me call customer service guy named Pasquale insert I informed him of this problem he seems unconcerned with the issue will not be returning to the deli department or the store will be taking my business to Clifton

Stop & Shop is always a madhouse the lines are always long theyre always registers that are not open and no one operating them even the self-checkout lines are long theres nobody in the butcher Department ever to help you cut a piece of meat or ask a question to their clearance groceries look like theyre going to expire tomorrow so whats the sense in buying them and worst of all theyre expensive I would go to a ShopRite any day over Stop and Shop

This is my neighborhood store and it is where we do 95% of our grocery shopping. I find their prices to be comparable to other stores. There selection is OK but not exceptional. This store is maintained nicely and for the most part, is managed well.

Section is near unprecedented. Great natural, organic, vegan options - I mean a whole isle with its own refrigerated and frozen section. Great sales and sometimes the organic storebrand is cheaper than the non-organic popular brands!

I will stop here when Im extremely tired after work. I gave stop and shop 3 stars because theyre pricey for no reason..... Im a shop rite fan. Overall, its clean and will have what you need for your shopping experience. :-/ enjoy

Worst Stop and Shop location! Super understaffed, they have so many checkout lanes and only 3 of them are ever open. The self checkout lanes need a complete overhaul! They need to take lessons from the Union location!

I mostly shop there for coldcuts.The deli dept is never well staffed. The number role call machine there is never working. Overall the deli employees work with what they got and they are personable.

Store is nice and clean usually not to bad to get in and out of but there are always people sitting outside both doors begging for money. There is a police presence but they do nothing about them.

Fresh food but definitely overpriced. This store location was once a professional place to shop, now its changed drastically. The quality of people who shop here are different.

Shop and Stop is a great store. Unfortunately, Greg that works in the seafood department is very rude and has a nasty attitude. He should not work with customers!!!! Good Luck

Very good large chain grocery. You may need to seek alternate sources for some cuts of meat (filet mignon, etc), but a great place for your normal shopping.
