By far the best Salon and Spa Ive been to in town! Ive been going to different salons for the last few years because I just never found one that satisfied me but MaZa just went above and beyond my expectations. i booked the appointment to come in and within ten minutes they got back to me right away. They were very considerate and I could tell from the email they cared for what I had to say and valued my requests. I ended up coming in 40 minutes late for my appointment but they were kind enough to direct me to another stylist they had available. Right when I walked in the door I noticed the pleasant atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They always made sure I was comfortable through out my time there, offering me water and holding pleasant conversations. I could tell that the staff worked closely with each other and were friendly with one another. The girl that did my hair, Megan B., worked miracles. I had problematic pink hair and was under a deadline and she managed to get me to the hair goal I had within short notice. They also were very flexible with their time as I was getting a wax service for my brows and underarms whilst still waiting for the dye in my hair. At the end of my appointment I felt like I found the salon fit for me and one that I trust enough to to recommend to my other friends. For all the great work they did I thought I wouldve had to pay an excessive amount of money but I was surprised when the service charge was much cheaper than I thought I wouldve had to pay. Overall, great atmosphere, great, skilled staff, and reasonable prices. 5/5 star!

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I am horrified by the customer service here! A friend recently went to go have her hair color corrected. They did a horrible job, turned it gray!! She complained and asked them to fix it and they refused, so she refused to pay. Even the police said this was her right to not pay for bad service! Now, any reputable salon would have bent over backwards to satisfy a customer to protect their reputation. Not this place!! Be warned, if you are a dissatisfied customer here they will NOT fix your hair, no, they will instead resort to cyber bullying! They posted my friends personal info online....pictures of her and her kid, her address, gym, work place, license number, called her names, spread flat out LIES, AND SLANDER about her and made physical threats!! WTF??! I am so ashamed because my friend just moved here and I told her how nice and welcoming the people in Reno were! Not at this place! The hairdresser who is guilty of the cyber bullying, Katie Catt-Lamanna, has been reported to the police and is under watch for Class C felony threats!!! I repeat, do not go here! And Katie...learn some customer service skills! Have you never heard "the customer is always right?!" or how about "Dont burn bridges in business?"

Megan was my hair stylist and I had extensions that she claimed she was supposedly experienced with. Not only did she make my hair 10 times worse than it orginally was, not portraying the color or style I wanted in the picture AT ALL, but because she dyed it wrong the first time, I complained (which she then got attitude about and left it up to me to decide how to fix it when she is supposed to be the professional and KNOW what to do) she decided to dye it AGAIN, and completely fried my extensions so now I have to go get new ones. She was extremely unprofessional and did not care at all if it turned out badly. She shrugged her shoulders and I didnt even get an apology. So we wasted $165 on this woman, and also need to go buy another $180 pair of extensions. All from her unprofessional mistakes. AND she got hair dye all over my head. So I just had black marks all over the place. Do not go to this woman.

I cant begin to tell you how happy I am to have stumbled upon Katie. Not only is she absolutely amazing at what she does, but she truly is a lovely person inside and out. I wont let any one else touch my hair and cant recommend her enough to friends and family. In fact, my oldest sibling, sister-in-law, and several of my friends now see Katie! Cant recommend her enough. The salon is also beautiful and the receptionist is incredibly nice.

So anyone that knows me knows that Im beyond anal about my hair .. most of my friends dont even like to go with me to get it cut because my crazy comes out if they mess my hair up lol. But I must say Katie Catt Lamanna is AMAZING !! You know when they hand you that mirror and say " take a look " and youre kinda scared lol .. Well Shes the first person that I didnt have to say anything to .. thank you Katie you rock my socks!!!

Shami is the best stylist ever, everyone comments on my hairstyles the cuts are always perfect and Im a very picky girl, always have been and finally got a great stylist.

Never have an issue here. Sorry to Almira for being a snotty little brat ass kid. Sucks for you... Maybe you shouldnt wear extensions and then try to dye them. This is a place for adults who know what they want, not kids who butch and moan and spend mommys money...

Katie has done my hair for about 7 years and she is the only person I trust to cut or color my hair. Shes the only person my husband and kids let do their hair too. The whole salon staff is friendly and extremely talented- I recommend everyone I know!
