This place belongs to the same owner as the Asian Supermarket further downtown on Virginia Street. To me they are the only 2 consistently well stocked Asian Market in Reno. Owner Ellen will be happy to help you when you are here with ingredients and items on your shopping list. And she does not have it she will be happy to get them for you the next time she has her buyers shop at the distributors. This store does not have a liquor license so that wines and sakes for cooking and Chinese alcohol are not available. One thing I have bought each time I visit is Mrs. Woos won-ton. She (Ellens mother) makes it from scratch, with pork, shrimp and mushrooms with extra thin won-ton skins from Hons of Vancouver (an exceptional noodle house in that city). They are frozen and exceptionally well priced. These are not the factory made ones that all have the same taste. Ask Ellen or the desk where in the freezers they are in. Once home, boil a small pot of broth, add some greens and some of these won-tons. In 10-12 minutes you will have the greatest won-ton in soup. Add noodles if you prefer. Great place. Friendly.

I really have mixed feeling about this place. For Asian who live in Reno, we dont have much grocery choices as someone live in SF or LA. This market does have a lot of unique seasoning and snacks. However, the price is quite expensive. Moreover, food, especially frozen food, is far from fresh. You should be very cautious when buying Tofu, meat and veggies here.

So much fun to shop! While the store isnt especially clean or aesthetic, they have a great selection of items you cant find anywhere else. Its so fun to look around at all the different products and take some home to experiment.

Nice selection of pastas, sauces, and fresh/frozen goods. This is the largest asian market I have been to in Reno thus far. There were even a number of options that didnt have MSG.

Visiting from the bay area, and they have a great selection here. Youll likely find anything youre looking for! Surprisingly well stocked for a grocery store so small!

Good selection of Asian ingredients, and snacks. A bit over priced for some items compared to Asian Markets in California, but thats the price of convenience I suppose.

168 is a decent asian market. The young man running the front is pleasant and helpful. Prices are about average for asian markets. Allot of frozen foods.

The shelves are packed with a great variety of ingredients. Note that they carry East Asian products. Theres almost no Indian supplies.

Kinda small store compared to a chain type store yet very organized and a good selection of authentic asian food and beverages

Most awful place to get mochi. Got four boxes, one. One of them was good the other three were freezer burnt and super chewy.
