Wife bought me a pair of slip on leather boots for Christmas. We were told if they dont fit we can return them as long as they are not obviously used. The cashier suggested I only wear them for a little bit indoors to test out the fit. Thats what I did. Wore them for about 10 minutes indoors, realized they were too loose so I went to return them a week or two later. I intended to do an exchange. Spent 40 minutes trying to find a better fitting pair but couldnt so i decided to return them. First cashier I go to looks at them and says they should be fine to return but the person who does the shoe returns isnt in yet. I come back an hour later. Two cashiers then take a look at the boots and say they cant see why they cant take them back. They call over the person who handles the boot returns. At this point 3 people think they are good to return. She looks them over. Removes the insole and sees a couple dog hairs stuck to it (like every other shoe in that store which has been tried on). She tells me she doesnt believe me, that I didnt just wear them for a short while, but she okayed the return anyway. HELPFUL HINT, DONT CALL YOUR HONEST CUSTOMERS LIARS! I went to HB boot corral to get a pair with my money. Ironically, I ended up getting the same size boot, but with an additional insole to make them fit snug (per suggestion of their sales associate), had Hirsch used their time making this helpful suggestion rather than insinuating Im dishonest, they wouldnt have lost their boot sale, wouldnt have lost all of my future purchases, wouldnt have me recommending HB instead, and would have made an insole insert sale. I would have only given 1 star, but in the end, they did accept the return and 3 out of 4 of the workers were pleasant.

Great place to get just about anything you need for farms large and small. I really like how they keep up with my purchases and at the end of the year I get a print out of my account for taxes. Never had a problem with returns, ever.
