Great staff at the St. Charles Location! Overall great store. Cheap tools, yes some may break, but they have great return policies and most hand tools (Pittsburgh) are lifetime warranty. Definitely sign up for their monthly ads & coupons, or join the Inside Track club w/ SuperCoupons these prices are usually insane. I laugh at those that complain when a $0.50 screw driver bends under extreme conditions. If you want a Craftsman, go pay for it. Otherwise be happy that HFT has tools that handle 90% of the jobs at over 75% off the craftsman price. Im a firm believer in both products, I use the right one for the right job. If you have a job where you know youre abusing the tool to do something it wasnt designed for, well do it with your HFT and not your good stuff. (Snap-on or otherwise). As a side note - if youre looking for Power Tools, I swear by RIGID (Home Depots line has a lifetime warranty EVEN ON THE BATTERY!).

I have had a DrillMaster 7" sander/buffer for over 5 years that I bought here. I use it exclusively for auto detailing, and its great! I also purchased a long pry bar to remove a fence posts concrete base. It worked, but bent in the process. The tools are a hit and miss for durability. I only needed that bar for the one job, so the low cost was well worth having a disposable tool. I love having a low cost option for odd tools, or tools I wont need more than once or twice. If I find the tool is handy/useful, I go buy a quality one after I/if I break theirs. Help is good, service is good, prices are good. This is a good store.

Staff at this location is great!! However tool quality here is not that great. This place suits the DIY guy who plans to use his tools rarely on small projects best, even moderate to normal use can wear and break harbor freight tools products down. But with that being said they do offer quite the return policy and even warranties. But still if you are heavily dependent on your tools like me, the Pittsburgh brand tools here may not be your best outfit. Other household/garage products are here too and can be bought at a great price!

My favorite tool store by far! I buy nearly all my tools from here. Even the ones you "shouldnt" buy from here are typically just a slight modification from being useful. I will however never buy hoses or air connectors from here. They always leak for me. And the garden hoses collapse after a single season. I guess thats a lesson to me that I should instead be buying rubber hoses

Inexpensive tools that a great for odd jobs around the house. Although the items are probably of lesser quality than other brand names, they are decent enough to get the job done. This location is always well stocked. Sometimes I have to wander around the aisles to find where they have what in looking for, but overall its usually easy to find things.

Horror Fright has some good deals. Unfortunately the merchandise is made of Chinesium and poorly made. You get what you pay for. Some good deals on things like pliers, gloves, etc. but Ive had to replace their cheap multimeters at least twice a year. I wouldnt trust any motorized, big ticket item. Good deals in the coupon books.

Store was somewhat messy with trip hazards. Employees I spoke with were less than happy to be there. Cheaper tools at a cheaper price..just think first about how much use your purchase will get. For continual use items Id go for higher quality products. Of coarse a hammer would hopefully last longer than say a generator.

A lot of tools and products at low prices. I am not sure about the quality of most products, I am satisfied with the ones I purchased so far. Weekly coupons in the mail (you do need to sign up first), helps reduce the costs as well

All kinds of tools for you to find here, and at reasonable prices! I found an electric chainsaw, and with a coupon (which they always offer), got it very cheaply. I could easily buy way too many things while Im here. :-)

Call me a snob, but the stuff they sell here all wreaks of made in China. Not that everything made in China is this cheap, but this is the lowest of the low when it comes to being made in China. Sorry!

They pack a bunch of stuff into a small store. If you need inexpensive tools this is the place to go. You have to learn which tools are garbage and which will last a long time.
