Horrible experience with this location. Awful customer service, lying, miscommunication and disrespect. We ordered a 7-Piece bedroom set and mattress from here that was described as "like new" and needed to be delivered from a different location. We signed the contract on 9-24-16 and the items were to be delivered on 9-30-16. My boyfriend was notified that the items may not be in very good condition, and that the particular set being delivered could be a "loaner" until they were able to find us one in the condition we were promised. Upon delivery, the set had several scratches, gouges, and stains on it and one full piece of the set actually wasnt even delivered. When we spoke to someone at the store, we were told that they could order us a NEW set and we could pay the difference. Or, they could try to find a mirror that was "similar" to the color of the set we ordered. Neither option is what we agreed to, and, in order to avoid complications with our credit or the contract, we made our first monthly payment prior to the discussion regarding our extreme disappointment with what they delivered. The store manager (Samantha) was very condescending to us in response to our complaints. They are refusing to replace our items with what was contractually agreed upon and instead trying to convince us to just pay for a new set. If we wanted to pay for a new set, we would have just gone straight to the seller, not chosen a rental center to mark up the peice as a middle man. We chose to make resonable monthly payments towards a "like new" 7-Piece bedroom set.

delivery driver foolishly drove into our septic drain field and got stuck there. store told us we would hear from insurance company the next work day and a week went by. after the week, the store put us in touch with the insurance company, but it was not an insurance company. it was some 3rd party claim processing vender who refused to send an adjuster to assess damage. instead they demanded that we go to our time effort and expense to create a documented, trial ready claim file THEN. THEY. would decide what recommendation they would make to the insurance company. All this STILL BEFORE the insurance company weighs in. These are sleaze ball tactics designed to avoid taking responsibility for damage rendered by an employee of rent a center and consumers should avoid businesses associated with engaging in sleaze ball tactics.
