Im a regular customer, or rather I was, but after attempting to "attend" another of their special beer releases I have once again been duped. I stop in at least once per week to make a mix six because of the great selections. Ive also purchased wine by the case as well as dropping hundreds of dollars per visit on liquor for making mixed drinks. Today was the release of Firestones Parabola and visited today specifically in search of a bottle. I was in at 12:30 and while I was there waiting to flag down an employee to inquire about this particular beer I noticed one of them walking by with a case of the beer in question. I stopped him and asked if I might purchase a bottle. He replied, "no, I was actually trying to sneak this to the back... will be releasing it later. Make sure to watch for our announcement on Twitter when we make an announcement around 3:30." Okay, fine I will watch Twitter, and watch I did. Around 3:50 I decided to go back to the store since I hadnt seen anything on Twitter from Lukas Liquors. While wondering around the store picking up other beers to purchase when the Parabola was released my phone beeped with a Twitter message. Finally the announcement I had been waiting for... at 4:00. One bottle per person and first come first served was what the tweet said. I made my way to the front of the store to find out where to line up to collect and purchase my one bottle of beer only to be told they had sold out? To whom? I was there. Anyway it was explained that this was done out of fairness. Where is the fairness in the 4:00 release as apposed to selling to a guy who was there three and a half hours earlier asking for the product? Who exactly are they trying to be fair to I wonder? Doesnt seem fair to me. Regardless, they wont have to worry about this customer showing up to the special releases, or showing up at all. There are lots of other liquor stores in St. Louis County... Perhaps I should start being loyal to Randalls or The Wine and Cheese Place.

Apparently Lukas is too bust counting their money to properly train their staff. They are disorganized, rude, and have a chip on their shoulder. After visiting the store for the 3rd time trying to sign up for their Pappy Van Winklle lottery, I was told that the lottery was closed and only the first two hundred people can register. That was the first time anyone gave me that piece of information. The last time I was there on Sept 2nd to sign up, I was told that the lottery registration would be from Sept 7 to Sept 30. Arrived on Sept 23rd to find out I was out of luck. When I tried to explain to the clerk that it was the third time I attempted to sign up he cut me off and told me that "he didnt need my attitude." Really? Ill be going back to K&L Wines and purchase my liquor and wine form them. Ill gladly pay the extra freight knowing they appreciate my business. If I could give "zero" stars to Lukas, I would. BTW If soneone shows up to potentially buy a $250 bottle of whiskey you might want to make an effort to keep their business.

I have been going to Lukas Liquor Superstore for years, and they have, without a doubt, the best wine selection in the St. Louis area. Of course they have everything that is popular, but they also have a lot of smaller wineries and regions too. I also like how they separate their premium wines and the consumer wines. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and I can pull my car up to the curb and they will bring out my cart and help me load it. Best prices in town as well. Highly recommended.

Lukas has a very large variety of beverages. From local to nationally sold brews, chances are they will have it. They have a very large wine and liquor selection and even carry all of the garnishes you can think of. They are definitely the one stop party shop. Did I mention the bar? They have a large selection of drinks on tap that you can purchase and try before you buy an entire bottle or case.

Freakishly large selection of everything you could ever reasonably expect to drink as a libation. They also seem to have every possible sized bottle, from the mini 50ml bottles to the various-sized flasks to the regular 750ml and the 1.0L bottles to the big 1.75L handles. Easy to lose track of time in this place. It must be haunted, because I learn about new spirits every time I go.

Friendly staff helped me coordinate a delivery for my across-the-country dad on Fathers Day! Hes been getting into summery tropical drinks with my mom on their new patio so I sent a couple dark rums and good ginger beer for Dark N Stormy variations. Thank you guys for making a joyful Fathers Day! And for everyone else contemplating something fun, give this easy cocktail a try!

We used Lukas Liquor for the beer and cosmos for a trivia night event. They had both the beer and cosmos cold for us at pickup. We called a couple of other stores to compare prices and Lukas Liqour had a better price and they were much more friendly and helpful. A special thanks to Adam and Bob! We will use your store in the future.

Great liquor store with an amazing selection of beers ranging from the big macro brews to very local selections. Good selection of wines and other things as well but the beer selection is definitely amazing. Maybe the only downside is sometimes it can take a while to make a decision on what to buy, but thats hardly a bad thing.

The selection wine and spirits selection is incredible. The beer selection is great, but my only knock is that I wish the beer was sorted by style instead of brand--i dont understand this decision, their wine and spirits are sorted by type. Its impossible to browse beer by style here.

Great selection of wine, beer, and spirits. If they dont have what you are looking for, they can usually order it for you. You are always greeted when you come in, and the staff always asks if you are looking for something in particular, and will then take you directly to that area.

My favourite beverage store! The employees are helpful and friendly. The selection is outta this world. Nice large aisles so you can shop comfortably. Free samples on weekends. Many private store picks. Wonderful tasting bar. Probably the largest liquor store in Saint Louis!

Lots in the store, but not what I was loooking for. Went to competitor down the street and from it. Local wine department not as comprehensive as I would like. People at store were helpful. Prices were somewhere compatible with competitors.

Their service has really gone down hill over the last couple of months- It is really disappoint I use to go out my way to shop Lukas - NO More! There are so many more options that you that customer services should matter more.
