I usually dont fill out reviews. But my experience today really stood out from a customers perspective. I had some problems with a couple fish and they were more than happy to correct the situation no questions asked. The lady in the fish department was SO helpful. I didnt happen to catch her name but she was about 56", dark brown hair in a pony tail. She seemed as though she had alot of experience with fish and she took very good care of the ones in the store. She was very knowledgeable and knew the best answer to every question I had. She showed me how to set up my bubble stones and was so understanding. She made sure we left with every piece of information we needed as well as other customers. She was my saving Grace! I will continue to go back when she is working and hopefully catch her name next time. A HUGE thank you to her. Update: Her name is Rachel! She is so helpful. Again today, she saved me! I will continue to visit this store as long as she is working there. Such a knowledgeable girl! Shes in the perfect department.

Usually shop here every chance I get. However Monday, March 3 were in the area and went in to check out the fish. We usually get out aquarium supplies from here. Granted, there had been an winter storm come thru, but the store was open. Two employees were in the store. Neither one greeted us, but gave us a look of disapproval. We went to the fish. Several dead ones in the freshwater tanks. Then we went over to the Bettas. There were 5 dead Bettas in containers. One had some really weird looking stuff in the container. We have several Bettas and know the condition was not what it should be. We left, not a word as we walked out. Went over to WalMart and was surprised to find the Bettas there were in better shape than the ones at Petco, which is pretty rare. Just really disappointed.

I went in to look at selections of tanks and stands that they had. 55 gallon was the biggest in both, no problem. Then when I asked the homely lookin unnatural redhead in the fish department if there were anything bigger they offered online. She immediately gave me attitude, followed with "Ill just go get you the iPad so you can look yourself" then fast forward 20 minutes an this godawful woman is nowhere to be found. I even circled the store. I can only assume she took a break and was using that 20 minutes to reflect on her horrible existence. Either way, this Branson local shall not be returning.

It is nice to have a brick and mortar store here in town that sells better quality pet supplies. However, be careful about expiration dates. I have noticed many canned and dry foods are well past their expiration date- by as much as five months. I have mentioned this to staff and the expired product was still there the next time I went in. The marine section is alright, but tanks are not kept up as well as they were a year ago.

Never buy any saltwater fish or coral from this petco! All of our water parameters are perfect and every time we get a fish, within 24 hours of buying it it dies from ich. Also, some coral that we purchased had flatworms on it. They will NOT give you a refund on fish when they die. Ill never buy any saltwater fish or coral from this petco store again.

Staff was non existent and there was dog poop on the floor we informed the staff twice. It was still there after we were leaving the staff that did finally help you had to practically beg for help I asked 3 times before any attention was payed :/

They price match! The employees arent overly friendly. I feel like they all hate their jobs every time we have to interact with them at check out. But other than that..well stocked, fun environment. OH and there is dog pee on every corner

We have three birds from PetCo. A parakeet from the Fayetteville location and 2 conures from this location. They really worked with me with price matches and setting up for two new conures, which can be pretty pricey.
