I was so unhappy when I went to the store on 03/08/15! I broke my bed head straightener that morning and figured that I would pick up another one. I was just at the store the Saturday before and spent $100+. Saturday there was half drank water bottles on the shelves, all the brushes were unorganized without any prices. I was not asked if I needed any help finding anything. Tuesday I went in and could not believe that the brush isle & the same water bottle sitting on the shelf half drank (EWW). Then I found a cordless CHI flat iron that was "on sale" for $50 (according to the sign) and brought it to the register when it rang up for $100+. I brought the sales clerk to the aisle and she said oh...this should have been taken down. the sale expired in July of last year. Really?! July?? No wonder the last mascara I bought there lasted 2 months before being dried out! Clearly the staff does not take pride in keeping the store clean. Really disappointed in the service & cleanliness of the store... dont know if I will head back there again. *Update* After posting on here and FB the store Manager (Kelly) called and appologized for my bad experiences. She reassured my feelings about the store/staff and offered to correct the problem. I feel better after knowing they took time to hear my side of the story.

As far as shopping at ulta its great but getting your hair done at this ulta is not worth it. I paid over $100 asked for a balayage flowing into an ombré and walked out with no blonde and ended up with darker hair. My hairstylist was super nice & had great customer service.. Just not satisfied with the results. I was hoping to walk out feeling amazing wanting to show everyone my "new look". Now I have a burning scalp and honestly wish I went to Sallys beauty supply and died my own hair if I wanted to go back to brown. Maybe my expectations where to high... But when you pay a nice price its hard not to. I so would have gave a great review if I even got some lighter tones/dimension making my burning scalp worth it haha but I just dont see it... Im so bummed

I went into Ulta, and was not greeted. I spent about an hour in the store, but no one asked me if I needed any help. I then patiently waited in line for about another 10-15 minutes. When it was my turn, a worker said, "I can help you right here!". When I walked up to the register, she then said, "Oh, this one is closed!" I also watched as other customers walked into the store, however they were warmly greeted. The workers also asked other customers if they needed help, but every time I walked passed a worker they did not say one word to me.

I dont usually take to the internet to blast places, but my experience at ULTA today was awful. Every time Ive been to this store they are out of stock of at least one thing I went there for. It was always a bummer, but never enough to keep me from going back. Today I needed some help looking for a new product for dark under eye circles. The consultants couldnt be bothered. They were rude and one in particular completely embarrassed me with her response. I left the store without buying anything and I wont shop there ever again.

I have tried coming to this Ulta multiple times to see if my experience would be different. Every time I come into the Ulta in Roseville the people who work there are so rude and they have NEVER helped me because they are to busy talking to each other. I have heard many good things about Ulta from my friends and family, so I wanted to give this story a couple of chances because it is the closest to my house; however, it has not gotten better and that is why I am writing this review and I will not be shopping here again.

Luckily I got in an out without any rudeness to myself, but every person that worked there that I saw interacting with customers was just plain rude. I heard some of them swearing, rolling their eyes at customers and just in general being cranky-like it was a HUGE hassle to help anyone out. This is all including the manager who was called to help with a problem at check-out and told the customer she should have gone to another store because she wasnt going to give her the discount. Avoid at all costs!

I LOVE this store. I spend way too much time there... but thats beside the point. I love the employees and how willing they are to help me find the things that I need. Kelsey is the absolute best. She refers me to tons of brands that fit exactly what Im looking for and she always makes sure I get all possible discounts and rewards/free gifts when I check out. All employees are so incredibly knowledgable of Ultas products and this will always be my favorite location to purchase from. Love love love it!

Called looking for the Lorac Pro Palette. They put me on hold for so long that I almost hung up. Since I was so desperate to get my hands on this, I decided to wait. Ten minutes later they come back and told me they had the Pro Palette 1 and 2 available. I came by an hour later to have them tell me they have NONE and they dont know who I talked to but they dont have any in stock. I had some other things in my hand but set them back down. I will not purchase from this Ulta ever again.

Whether the store is busy or not, the cashiers take an unreasonably long time to get through the line. There is always an element of unprofessionalism about the staff who are chatting about personal matters right in front a customer, or talking to someone else while ringing someone up. The employees usually seem agitated and express their irritation through constant eye-rolling and general snottiness. Not welcoming at all.

Been shopping at Roseville Ulta since 1998. Time to find a new store. Staff was rude, out of stock on everything. This store should just close, cant keep product stocked, the staff has very poor people skills. The only reason I go there is because of the phenomenal stylist Mitchell.

Sat in the boyfriend chair as always...but its a big store with nice staff and had a good selection of everything (says the girlfriend), and they were accommodating when they were out of something by giving suggestions for alternatives.

Such helpful staff! I was looking for the perfect lip color for my wedding and she offered me plenty of helpful suggestions in multiple price ranges.. Plus she shared in my wedding week excitement!

The store is always clean and organized, however I can never get everything I need in one go because at least one thing I need is out of stock. Otherwise nice and helpful staff and good sales.

I really like this store and their staff. They let you take your time and shop without makeing you feel rushed. If you need help they help and if you like to be alone they respect that also.

They have a wonderful selection of products, clever POS points and they didnt mind that I had my toddler with me. He is well behaved, but he is still a toddler.
