The worst customer service I have ever received in my life in a retail store (no exaggeration) has been in the Rogers store. My first experience was calling in asking about a rifle they had in the ad and was asking if the had it in stock in a certain caliber. The response I received was that the associate was "too busy" to see if it was in stock. I wasnt looking for information about the rifle, I simply wanted a yes or no answer if they had it in stock. My father used to work for Gander Mountain and he said it takes 5 seconds to see if they have a specific firearm in stock. So I took my problem to Cabelas, told them what happened, they then matched and beat the price. My second and last experience was looking for a safe. The staff was completely careless when it came to customer service and the manager was an as*hole. I work in retail myself and can honestly say I wouldnt have a job if I treated customers the way I was treated. So needless to say I will not be returning to Gander Mountain and will be waiting patiently for Cabelas to put them out of business.

I just bought a winchester 12 guage there and love it. Jake helped me out and was very helpful and didnt look down at me because Im 20 and look a little younger. Im also in the market for an sks and they had 3 there. I plan on going back in a few weeks to pick one up if they are still there, Ive driven to cabelas, bills and fleet farm looking for an sks and they all just kinda laughed me out of their store because they had none. Cabelas I asked if they had one and all the guy did was give me a weird look and walk over to the bolt action and rim fire section (I believe the sks is centerfire) and said no looks like we dont and just walked off to help this older guy, I couldnt even say Id like to look at a shotgun that was behind the counter because he just ignored me. It really sucks that people who are interested in firearms and are trying to find their first gun are just looked down upon because they are younger.

The good: The store is listed as "Americas Firearms Supercenter" and with good cause, they have a huge supply of firearms, ammo, holsters, cases, safes, and accessories. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Generally prices are better than Cabelas, heres why. The bad: When it comes to any outdoors and sporting things other than shooting they are lacking in selection. The staff while being helpful is usually hard to find and get a hold of(I called in with a question about an auger on Friday and the lady said they were too busy and would have to take down my number to call me back, its now Monday and Im still waiting to be called back.) In the end, if you know what youre looking for then this is generally a great place to buy your outdoors supplies. If you need any kind of help, go somewhere else.

Have bought several firearms from this store and was very satisfied until my last Vist when I was trying to buy a gun my girlfriend would be comfortable to shoot when we go to the range not give or buy for this would remain my firearm as i tried to explain ( she also has conceal and carry ) and was refused the gun and also had the employee scream in my younger brothers face as we were trying to explain and was told he was gonna call the police. The amount of disrespect was ridiculous. least to say I was not impressed an will not be buying anything from this store again. An its real nice this post has been on here for about a month now an no one has responded or returned any of my phone calls. Worst customer service I have ever seen..

Up until recently I had been a loyal customer of Cabelas for several years. A friend recommended that I check out Gander Mountain. Although he goes to the Eden Prairie location, I went to the Rogers location as it is closer to where I live. Gander Mountain in Rogers had exactly what I was looking for and then some! And the prices seemed to beat what Id seen elsewhere. The employees were very pleasant and welcoming and were able to answer all my questions. They also explained their rewards card program and signed me up for it. Im certain that Ill be using that frequently and returning soon!

This location was the old Best Buy store. And it does not have de-humidification. I walked in on a humid day and could see condensation on the counter tops. I looked at a few "New" rifles and all of them had rust. Dont believe me? Go there yourself and look at a few. Rusty barrels, triggers, receivers all on supposedly "Brand New" firearms. Even looked at a New Gamo pellet rifle...rust. Its sad to have a gun store not properly control the climate. To not even know how to properly store firearms. All that merchandise ruined. Go see for yourself.

Worst customer service ever. Never been so insulted by an employee/customer service rep. I went to the St. Cloud store, and they were very helpful. Even if they denied the return, I would have been fine, but the way they treated me was terrible. I would not recommend this store, just go next door to Cabelas. Their receipt says satisfaction guaranteed, but a warrantee is only as good as the people that work at the store. I went to St. Cloud and returned the item 30 minutes after essentially being told to go pound sand by employee in Rogers.

Went there last weekend to purchase my 1st handgun. Talk about a huge selection. My head was spinning but luckily the staff was ultra friendly and helpful. Not to mention really knowledgeable. They were patient and didnt try to rush me or pressure me in anyway. I was there for almost 2 hours but left with my gun and a great feeling of accomplishment. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for any kind of firearm. They really seem to enjoy helping you.

We had a great experience at this Gander Mountain location. We have been to at least three other Gander Mountains in the metro area and the customer service at the Rogers location was top notch. I had three kids (under the age of 5) with us and the staff was patient and accommodating to our needs. The staff was friendly and had a wealth of knowledge on firearms to assist my husband. I would recommend this store to anyone and we will be going back.

Are you fn kidding me, bro? How the hell does ARBYS RUN OUT OF ROAST BEEF?! Place is a joke, never stop here again. If I could review NO STARS, I would. I drove off with no order.

I was in yesterday, my wife and I were shopping for some fishing gear. Chris was fantastic. He went above and beyond taking the time to show us the items that we needed throughout the store. He even checked the backroom for items that were not on the sales floor. We ended up leaving with more than we needed in a good way. We will definitely be back. The service couldnt have been better.
