Great location! Staff are the most welcoming, friendly, and attentive Ive experienced at any store. However Ive had to edit my review based on recent experience. Today (July 2, around 11:30) I came n to buy groceries and to look for for a new Kleen Kanteen or other water bottle in the Wellness section. A very helpful employee was working with me initially, but when I asked whether they had any glass water containers, like the other Seward Co op, he referred me to a woman working in Wellness. She was amazingly rude and snarkily stated, "No we dont carry those here." When asked why, she huffed, "because were a smaller store and we dont have enough room.". The rudeness was not in the words at all, but rather in the tone and cold demeanor. The polite employee looked taken aback too and proceeded to help me answer the questions I had, almost to make up for this rude woman. This store is hopefully not becoming like the the Franklin store, but this was not a good sign. I come in to shop at least four times a week so everyone recognizes me and us friendly with the exception of this employee.

The stores motto that everyone is welcome is an obvious lie as soon as anyone goes through the store. The owner and/ or hiring manager are racist against white people. There are only 1 or 2 white people employed there. As a side note, white so- called liberals being pro- diversity does not make them more liberal. For example, people in Seattle are more liberal than people in Minneapolis, yet they are openly against non- whites coming into their city. Europeans, themselves, traditionally have been liberals, but not pro- diversity.

Easily my favorite place to shop for groceries. The staff are some of my favorite people in town. I went to the same cashier on my second trip, and he remembered my name. Now we strike up conversation every time we see each other in the store. The selection is diverse, including bulk sale produce, spices, teas, and more that I would struggle to find elsewhere.

I am new to Seward Community Co-op. I am most impressed with their green apple hand pies-a very healthy but tasty sweet treat! I also love that they sell cuts of meat that others dispose of - poultry carcus, kidneys, fish heads and rather meaty fish bones! The personnel are friendly, multi-ethnic, multi-age, and very helpful!

Me gusta la comida orgánica y este es un muy buen lugar donde encontré comida parecida a el natural sabor que sólo se prueba en el trópico.

Friendly staff and a good selection but often overpriced. I know a co-op often stocks higher priced items but the better ones (like Wedge) offer more budget options. They have a "co-op basics" line for supposed budget items that still feel expensive. That said its great to have in the neighborhood.

I love my co-op, but the produce here has really not been up to par lately. Lots of older produce on the shelves, fruit flies circling. Some basic items have been hard to find recently as well. But overall I love the nice people here and the meat counter is a good place to get quality items.

I love going down to the co-op and looking through the produce and meat sections, feeling inspired, and bringing home dinner. The produce is fresh. The meat counter is extensive (usually have fresh goat and lamb). I love the cheese selection and international foods.

This is a great little grocery store. I love their dedication to making programs like WIC work for everyone. Rotisserie chickens are a great value and the deli is reliably good. You dont have to think about weather the food is healthy or not. It always is healthy.

I like the idea, this store is 5 blocks from my house. However, while their service is great, their selection is lacking. They have very minimal vegan options (bakery, deli, and most of the store) so I drive to the Wedge rather than going here.

Great produce and meat, but very expensive. This confuses me. I thought the sales pitch was that they would be bringing affordable food to a food desert. Not sure how affordable it is especially for families with a lower income.

Clean store with a welcoming atmosphere. The staff makes the store worth it - every time I had need of a recommendation on what sort of food to go with what or just help finding something, someone was always willing to help me out.

I am a lacto oopho octogenarian that eats only food fermented more than 80 years. This limits me only to hundred year old eggs. They dont have any of these but they do have my favorite purple kraut and kombucha for when I cheat.

Great selection. Love their in store coffee shop. It is one of the only places I could find coconut milk as a dairy substitute for a latte, etc. The also have a great work or meeting space behind the registers.

One of the few stores where produce changes with the season due to local sourcing. Always delicious house made sausages and organic meats. This is one of my favorite places to get fresh delicious food.

Absolutely amazing co-op. Someone assisted me right away in the aromatherapy and supplements. Ask about using food stamps...I heard that you can get an affordability discount if you use EBT...

I go for the Kalona Yogurt and stay for the freshly ground PB. Pop around the corner for some nuts and dried berries, and then try to survive the siren calls of Gjetost in the cheese case.

Love the Friendship Store! I was so excited to have a co-op open close to my home and it has become our go-to. Its amazing how much product and goodness can be crammed into this location.

Kombucha on tap, and a big seating area if you want hot food. Standard coop groceries, with a steep price if you dont pay attention to what you pick up. Great bulk section though.

Seward co-op is amazing! Staff are super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Some items are pricier, but organic and ethically/locally sourced items tend to be pricey anyways.

I love going to the Seward Co-op. The staff are always helpful and friendly when I go. There are so many different things there that you wont find at other grocery stores.

Im a big fan of Seward Coop. I buy most of my groceries at the Franklin store. The Friendship location is a little small but still a great location with great products.

Friendly staff and great food. I love out of town and find the Friendship Store easier to get to and Ive never had trouble parking compared to most co-ops.

Great co-op and easy parking. Its a bit on the smaller side, which means it has almost everything you would need, but maybe not the exact brand you want.
