We have had continuous issues with the maid service not doing a complete job. Every morning we have had to go down to get coffee packets from the front desk. The bathroom items are only sometimes replaced/restocked. The kitchen hand towel and wash rag were taken and not replaced since day one of our stay. Weve had to request dish detergent numerous days. The extra bedding we used was taken and not replaced. Also, the front desk needs a good lesson in customer service 101. Whenever we notify them of an issue they clearly act as if we are bothering them. I was explaining what we needed to a Michelle and she literally cut me off and began talking to her co-worker. Other than the people issues, the rooms have a bad odor. Maybe its time for a good carpet cleaning? I am a Platinum Member, I stay at Marriotts quite often. I have never had an experience like this at any other Residence Inn much less any other Marriott in the past. The consistency of these issues is telling! I will never return to this hotel... The location is good and management seems to be on top of things.

This property is not overly well maintained. The thermostat in our room was not functioning properly, making for a very uncomfortable stay on a sub-zero night (we called the front desk, who sent someone to take a look - he tapped the thermostat a couple times and pronounced it "ok"). The insulation on the building - and particularly around the windows - is well below par for this part of the country (i.e. "woefully inadequate"). While the bath faucet had a strong stream of water, the shower head was not functioning properly, producing a rather pathetic drizzle. The good points of this hotel are the location and the breakfast. It is very close to MOA and the airports, which is handy. The breakfast was on-par with other Residence Inns across the country, even better than some. Nonetheless, this hotel does not live up to the 5-star hype seen in reviews on sites such as Trip Advisor.

The door to my room was open when I got there, like it hadnt latched. No one was in there and everything was okay, but it made me uncomfortable. Also, checkout is at 11. Housecleaning came and opened the door at 7:30 am. I had gone out the night before and wasnt happy about being up so early. We went and had breakfast, and most of the food was always gone. We went back upstairs to sleep until it was time to leave and a maid came into the room to clean TWO more times. Very irritating. We hadnt checked out so Im not sure why she kept coming back. It was a nice hotel room. I wasnt expecting a kitchen, which had kitchen supplies (such as a measuring up and wine opener!) in it! The front desk lady was incredibly helpful and kind.

First off, I love the brand and have logged more nights in Residence Inn rooms than all but one other hotel. This particular property lags behind any other over stayed in. Getting my room cleaned has been challenging, which is frustrating. The decor is poorly appointed, and wasnt installed with care. There is construction debris in both elevator door crevices. The laundry room has no a/c, so its always hot. The TV is tiny and the picture is horrible. Simply spraying bleach on the tub and toilet without actually scrubbing them does not qualify as cleaning. The front desk staff are courteous and gracious, but the back end folks dont hold up their end of the customer experience.

Breakfast was fantastic and the shuttle to moa came in very handy, was there on a busy weekend w hockey tournaments going on and the hotel being packed we didnt even really notice until it was breakfast time w all the ppl...do not order food from the Italian place they have a flyer of at the front desk, on the expensive side n the food was cold, bread was nasty chewy and took them 2 hours to deliver when we ordered at 8 pm...i recommend toppers!!!

This is a fabulous hotel. Rooms were super nice and clean. We had the queen 2 bedroom suite and we all had our own room. Full kitchen with dishes was a huge plus. Front desk very professional and nice. Will stay here again and again. Convenient and free shuttle bus to MOA. Rooms are pretty pricey though I personally thought but I was very impressed with our stay. Thanks for providing a great, comfortable stay.

We stayed at the Residence Inn one night during an overnight trip to Minneapolis. The hotel is starting to show some age with wear and tear in the carpets and beds that are a bit springy. Still the hotel room was clean, the staff courteous, and the breakfast good. The hotel offered a shuttle to the Mall of America which was convenient. I wouldnt hesitate to go back or suggest someone stay at this location.

Pros: Great location with nice amenities. Breakfast was good as well. Cons: I was on the first floor and anytime the person above me would walk around in their room, my room would shake like godzilla was walking around outside. Also, every time the same person would turn on the sink, shower, or flush the toilet, it sounded like the water was dumping into my room.

The beds are quite comfy and they give you a bunch of pillows which i like. Super nice to have the shuttle service for to and from the airport as well as the Mall of America. YOU ALSO GET FREE FOOD WHEN YOU STAY HERE!!! Breakfast and the Dinner were both quite good. Having a fully stocked kitchen also helps you feel at home.

Kelvin is one of the warmest people I have have the pleasure of interacting with in my years of travel. He was very accommodating despite our showing up three hours early! He also took great care of my boys in the morning helping them out with some sports equipment and letting me get work done. What a pleasure.

The two bedroom suite was beautiful and the appliances were in good order. Staff were knowledgeable about the area and kind to my children. We used the free shuttle to the mail and they even dropped us off at a different location when asked and came back to pick is up later. Very impressed.

The hotel was very clean with a great staff. The accommodations were as expected with a nice entry and lounge. Included shuttle service to the mall and airport. The rooms were nicely remodeled and the hotel served the complimentary hot breakfast. I will stay their again.

Hotel was updated, very clean, and a great location. Bed was comfortable and I enjoyed the full size kitchen and appliances to be able to cook in the room and not have to eat out for every meal. Staff was polite. The complementary breakfast was pretty standard fare.

Awesome staff! I stayed here for about 4 months and I love the fully working kitchen, hot water for days, plenty of storage. The shuttle to and from the mall is very handy, from the mall you can take the light rail and go just about anywhere.

Their split 2 bedroom setup is pretty unique (each with its own bathroom) and the living space shared and well thought out. The small gripe that I have is that the flat screen is tiny. Its like watching sports on my small phone screen.

Solid hotel all around. Only negative i can think of immediately, is that the eggs served during breakfast seem to consistently be very rubbery and weird, although dont let that little detail push you away from a great hotel.
