I recently visited Janets Closet for the first time, and I cant begin to explain the wonderful and joyful experience that I had. The whole staff was so helpful and willing to give out their tips and secrets to making me feel and look beautiful! My sales person, Amanda, was absolutely amazing. She helped me decide which size breast form to choose, and then opened my eyes to new wig ideas and more! If I asked her a question that she wasnt absolutely sure of the answer to, Missy and Lori were right there to help me as well, they were so wonderful! I had such an amazing experience at Janets Closet, Im hoping to be able to go back soon and possibly get a Transformation done, or maybe have Amanda and hopefully Janet take me out for their Queen for a Night package! It sounds so great! I would recommend Janets Closet to everyone! It is so warm and welcoming!

I visited Janets Closet in the afternoon of 5/12/2015. I had such a great shopping experience. I purchased some excellent breast forms, they fit perfectly and the skin tone was perfect on my skin. The breast form adhesive really works great, and I showered with my breast forms on.....and they stayed on! I also purchased an Olivia medium brown wig, it looks so perfect on me, and also some silver earrings, mascara and an eyebrow pencil. I could not believe the selection of great merchandise in the store. Ive never felt so pretty until I walked out of the store. The staff is so friendly, and so was the stores kitty cat...lol. I will definitely shop there again whenever I am in the Detroit area again.This store is a godsend, or should I say godess-send...lol I wish I could work there. Are you hiring? Hugs...Danielle :)

Workers are friendly and ready and willing to help. The items they sell are AMAZING and hard to find in other stores! Very sexy clothing,no one under 18 allowed and No its not a family friendly store lol. But its great for women wanting to look sexy and spice things up for their partners! The ONLY complaint I have is that they need sizes for us curvier, thick girls with big chests,and the last time I was in there they told me they were changing that and gonna make it happen! For now its for the slimmer petite girls.

The owner of this store is TRANSPHOBIC and only uses cross dressing to sexualize the female body. The owner lives in the store, and it has been infested with bed bugs for over a year. All online orders are also shipped from the store so make sure youre checking those wigs you just bought. Janet is only in this for the money, and even takes other companys clothes and changes the labels to pass them as her own. The only good thing about this store are its employees.

I was a Little scared at first , but Noel put me at ease . She was great at explaining the different breast forms and even suggesting that I get the larger size . She is the first person to see me in person in my bra when I came in for the breast forms she put aside for me and even suggested that I try a bigger bra size .I hope they keep her and Ill be back to have her help me more . I have been to Janets Closet a couple of times within the past month. Both times my experience was enjoyable. My main purchases were for breast forms and I absolutely love them! They look and feel great and are very reasonably priced as well. The staff is friendly and insightful in helping you find the products that work best for you. Im sure to be back many times in the future.

I just went there today & spent probably almost an hour. I came in planning to get a specific wig but got another thanks to the help of a very nice young lady. Totally in love with my lace frontal, I will definetly be going back for my next wig & have been recommending people to janets closet all day.

Ive known Janet for many years. I am not a dresser, but know many girls in the community. This is a safe place for them to go do make-up and purchases. You just have to get to know Janet. Everyone has their quirks, but she is a good person. Hope to see you at the shop sometime. Bob

Awesome experience. It was my first time to Janets Closet and I was a little apprehensive being my first time. Once I got there I was greeted by Roxie and she made me feel at ease and welcome. Never felt judged once during my whole experience. Definitely going back again and again.

As a crossdresser myself, I have to say Janet is the best. She honestly describes her products, and explains how to use them. If you have a question or concern, she addresses it immediately, and really works to make sure you are satisfied. I cannot recommend this shop more highly!

Terrible experience as I was shopping the owner was using offensive language and racists comments as well. The Breast forms I bought after three uses ripped. Also was very rude to the staff and made comments about crossdressers. Will not be going there ever again.
