I was at this location around 2p today and witnessed the only employee in the store refuse service to a young African American boy because he simply had a backpack. Never have I ever witnessed such an act- she stated she was alone and that was why he could not enter. Since when has this been an acceptable way to treat other human beings? I worked retail for years and never once refused someone entry into my store due to them having a backpack. I had a large purse on me (probably bigger then said backpack) and she let me (white female) in the store. I am completely appalled that management would allow this behavior. If you have a problem with people shopping your store when there is only 1 person working then simply shut the store down until another employee can be found rather than too blatantly refuse service to someone. In my opinion this was simply race based and not due to a backpack.

Love this Dollar General the associates are very nice and friendly the manager is very nice and friendly and they always have everything in stock and great clearance

Store workers were not very helpful and kinda did not wanna help me find noodles they just pointed me in the right direction and I had to find it my self
