On one hand theres disappointment in the shuttering of storefronts here over the years, leaving few businesses open in this vast mall to actually check out. On the other hand, its an understandable phenomenon with other malls opening fairly nearby in this region, straining the market available to them. For what they have its a well-maintained mall, not dirty or decrepit, and Ive heard they are re-making the place as a more strip-mall style entity that focuses on the anchor stores and restaurants, as opposed to finding dozens of individual small tenants for the interior stores. Will be interesting to see how these changes pan out, hopefully it works for them.

The Westshore mall has seen better certainly seen better days, with an entire wing of the mall populated with only dark and empty storefronts. The mall lacks the bright lighting and and vibrant color shared by its competitors in the region, making the shopping experience, outside of a few select shops, very displeasing. Of the stores that remain, Younkers, JC Pennys, and Dicks Sporting Goods, along with Bath & Body Works and Victorias Secrets, command the minimal foot traffic of the mall.

Truly Amazing. Its a huge boost for the neighborhood nerby and for me i go to Burlington every weekend to shop and its been a cool experience. The Shops At Westshore will have new stores/restaurant. Such as Chipotle, Golden Corral, Potbelly, Pizza Restaurant (Forgot name) all info from the papers on the windows at TSAW/Research. This is my favorite shopping center!

A shell of its former self. Most of the stores locations are totally vacant. When I was a teenager in the late 90s and early 2000s almost every store was occupied. It was bustling and vibrant. You can tell just by the parking lot that this mall will only have a decade at the most left of life in it.

It looks like they are finally turning this place around. Now they just gotta get some more stores in there. I use to never go to the mall but now since there is food there Ill stop for a bite and then visit a local store.
