I gave her 2 chances: her first chance she was rude to me when I brought our four year old son in for an appointment. She was callous and cold when asked to simply fix the noise piece on the glasses. She did everything except call me a liar when I explained why the lenses were scratched. The lenses were not why we were there. I wanted to immediately find a new eye doctor for our son, but my wife and I agreed to give her one last chance. Sometimes people have a bad day and we did not want to go through the work of moving if she was just having an off day. Well, the second chance was worse. She actually put down our four year old son for his education level in front of him AND his sister. She also told a four year old he had bumps on his eyes: he still isnt over that one. In addition, she gave him a prescription that was in incorrect and tried to blame us for this!! She double booked appointments when we tried to come back; she made it impossible. At the end I told her we would be taking our business elsewhere as this facility is not friendly towards children. A few days later, I asked for the warranty information for his glasses, she said she would only give that information to me if I physically came in.... Which meant an hour drive with three children under the age of 4!! If you are considering this business thats fine, just dont go for the customer service or quality of service.

Competent, but not particularly friendly or customer focused. I wear gas-permeable hard contacts, and I wanted an updated eyeglass prescription, for when I take my contacts out (at night or on weekends). She wanted me to not wear my contacts for two months, let my cornea reshape, then she could give me a true eyeglass prescription. But that is not how I use my eyeglasses. She had some questionable opinions, that hard contacts should be replaced every year (cant find that anywhere on the web), that I did not have irregular astigmatism (as other eye doctors have told me). I was also disappointed that she did not offer to replace a missing nose pad on my eyeglasses, even though she clearly noticed it during the eye exam (maybe only opticians do that now)? She also seemed a bit impatient during the eye exam. Bottom line, I didnt feel comfortable with her.

Dr Labiento Smith is a gifted eye doctor who runs a wonderful practice. She has a great assortment of glasses to offer and is enthusiastic, skilled and generous. She has gone out of her way to help me out in a few difficult situations with my glasses. She has provided service beyond what one would automatically expect. Her staff is always helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. I recommend her highly.

This woman literally saved my eyesight. I was cleaning the toilets at work one day when I got bowl cleaner in my eye. My boss called the owner and she opened just for us. Tested my eye and rinsed it until the ph was correct. Apparently toilet bowl cleaner can literally blind you, I may have lost the sight on one eye if it wasnt for this doctor.

Dr. Labiento-Smith is fantastic! Not only did she do a great exam, and a spot-on refraction, and give me a sample of some really great eye drops for allergies, but she also found that I had a previously undiagnosed medical condition, which I am now getting treatment for.
