If I could give this store a minus five star rating I would!!! Worst store I have ever been in.....Walmart should terminate every single person that works there and burn the building down. It is so dirty and un kept it is a disgrace. The management team must be blind to not see how bad the store is. Yep, thats right I would rather have glass rubbed in my eyes then go in that store ever again. This is just one incident, and the last straw for me with this store!!!! I ordered an item on line to be shipped to the store. When I went in to pick up the item I was given a box that looked like it had been thrown out of an airplane. Not only did this item have missing parts (instructions, packaging, etc) the product was very obviously used and dirty, it had tape with wrapping paper stuck to the outside of it. I was told, by an assistant manager no less, that that was all that was in the store and that if I wanted that item then I would have to take that one. REALLY, not only were there 5 more of them out on the store shelves. I refused to sign for and take the damaged, used item they were insisting I take and was the only one in the store!!!!! Total Incompetence!!!!!! I ended up having a 45 minute chat with the general manager of that crap hole. He walked the damaged item back to the jerks in the order pick up area and told them to mark it as damaged and send it where ever it should have gone to (I forget the names used). NOTICE I said where it should have gone to?!?!? Two weeks later I was back in the store to pick up a related item to the product I had had such a horrible time with two weeks earlier. Guess what was sitting on the shelf!!!! You say it cant be right???? Its not true!!!! The GM himself fixed that issue, so it should be fixed!!! WRONG!!!!! There it was the same sorry, beat up piece of used crap from two weeks ago, wrapping paper and all still stuck to the ripped and damaged box. Sitting on the shelf with two others of the same model. So HOW did a used, damaged item not only end up at customer pick up and then again two weeks later back on the floor???? I could give a million reasons, but that I will leave up to you. As for me I will never step foot in there again, but all is well as Target is across the street.

Everytime I go here I regret it every time. One time I was looking for an aux cable and I went to the electronics department looking for some help and I asked an employee whos name tag read, "electronics manager," and she answered me in spanish (I am spanish and its noticeable) but it still not acceptable to answer in spanish because although I look spanish doesnt mean I am. Another time I placed an order online and had it shipped to store for pickup and I was waiting for 20 minutes before someone showed up. Once the employee finally reported back to his work place I asked for a manager because it was not acceptable for a department to be left alone especially during the holidays. The manager was called, and she defended the employee because he was on break, and that it wasnt his fault, but coming from a person who worked retail (Bjs Wholesale Club) stuff like this never happened and if it did and the member was unhappy they would get some kind of reward usually a gift card to compensate for their time loss but not at Walmart in Methuen nope never there, the customer is usually wrong which is kind of a joke! Cooperate office will be hearing about this Monday morning.

Horrible, I was discriminated against from the manager him self, Chemere was his name,,, spelling may not be correct due too him turning his badge around. Ignoring me over three lines long, refusing to help me when I am disabled.I was told to go find someone in store to get it off shelf what I was returning that was broken, I would have but earlier I was here and I couldnt reach it,,,i explained,, he was so rude I was the only white person in line and I had to wait until another gentleman call over too help because her felt bad...reporting this will only make things worst got when I go back to shop,,, only one in area...so sad it took over two and half hours to buy and. Return,,,, that didnt include my driving time.I only pray things improve in this store...

Hello, its your friendly paramedic here! I once asked a store associate for help at this Walmart to find the Hot Wheels (I collect them), and she could not understand a single word that came out of my mouth. I am fluent in Spanish and asked her again in Spanish where the Hot Wheels are, and she got angry at me, and told me why didnt I ask her in Spanish the first time, while speaking Spanish. We got into an argument (in Spanish) how she should not be working at a retail store in America if she did not speak any English, and she disagreed with me. I was flabbergasted and left to find the Hot Wheels. When I found them, the rack was 98% empty. No bueno.

Walked around the electronic dept aimlessly looking for an employee to unlock the case so I could buy my son an Xbox controller. After 3 minutes or so I sought help from another Wal-Mart employee who disappeared never to be seen again. Well after another minute or so I see a young man in a Wal-Mart uniform engaged in conversation with another young man. I asked him if he worked in the electronic dept which he did. I mentioned that Id been waiting quite a while and needed to make the bus. He said he would help me them turned around to keep talking to the other young man. I waited about 30 more seconds and then I left. Ill never shop here again.

Estoy super molesta con Wal-Mart porque yo nunca compró ahí y fui con mi Esposo y él compró algo y tienen una persona chequeando la bolsas de los que tú cómprate y no lo veo bién. Porqué hay cámaras y seguridad para ver cualquier cosa sin necesidad de hacer esó.Wal-Mart de Methuen porqué en otros no lo hacen

I notice the staff members are rude to some customers and will argue with them about returns and prices. I also asked a women that was putting items away in her department if she could help me find something and she didnt understand me at all. If youre going to hire someone please make sure they understand the basics of English. I speak Spanish but I do believe to work in a place of such popularity and in a town that has a lot of non Spanish speakers you need to hire people who can communicate in both languages.

This Walmart gives all walmarts a horrible name and look. Avoid ever going to walmart or just shop target across the street. Very unprofessional, horrible customer service, most employees are horrible in general and self centered which isnt good for a customer service position. I dont understand how the short male manager holds a manager position in this store. Disorganized, filthy and asking for help is like talking to a wall. Nothing happens.. If i can give this review a 0 or a negative i would!!!
