I ALWAYS GIVE IT 5 STARS BUT LATELY THE FROZEN SECTION MANAGER CANT FN ORDER SOMETHING THATS OUT OF STOCK. I live in Marlboro and could easily go to Price Chopper. .Walmart superstore but come here because of the great selection of rare items that I used to love as a kid and cant find anymore like Marinos Italian Ice, fruitaries which lately have been out for months now. I love this place but lately the manager of the frozen section has been so bad as ordering or reordering this when things are out of stock. Ive called for 4 weeks now asking about watermelon Marinos Italian ice when thete getting them in and he kept saying he would order it every time I called or came there promising he would order it. FINALLY on the 3rd week my husband found a nice young man that worked there told him ehats been going on and he emailed his manager telling him about the situation and after 4 and a half weeks later finally got them ordered and guess what it only takes 3 days to deliver so theres no excuse for this horrible job hes doing. The young man also told me everyone complains and asks him to order things and he doesnt or forgets. Please fire this man ...is it so hard to order something Thats his ONLY JOB IN DOING IN THIS STORE. Order something when ur on the last case of something so your never out.. just common sense. Even the toll house original cookies, pot pies, strudels etc. that are in the frozen section are never in stocked it takes weeks for them to come in. But I rate it 5 stars cuz if u got rid of this man everyone else there is nice and always willing to help.

I have to say I like shopping at Market Basket. My husband likes to have lunch there and every time we go and try to eat our lunch in the dining area it is a mess. Sometimes we cant even find a clean table. The rubbish barrels are over flowing and the restrooms in that area are filthy. We would love to continue to shop there and have lunch there but it is just awful. There were a couple of times we asked the young man in the coffee spot if he could clean a table for us and he came right out and did it. Wouldnt it be a good idea to have someone every half hour or so clean up these areas? Thank you for reading this.

Stopped in on April 10 after leaving Lowes. When checking out a manager spoke to the young lady bagging my item in such a way that I would not talk to my own employee, and I own a construction company, telling her to sweep-up ASAP. He could of picked up a broom himself and allow her to continue helping the customers. It was not long ago that the employees walked off the job to support the owner, it should be time for the management to be trained on how to speak to the back bone of the company. Until then I will not shop at MB

A grocery store with something for everyone. I find everything I need and I typically buy mostly Organic and Non-GMO foods. I end up spending way less than I would at WholeFoods or even at Stop&Shop. They have a good selection of breads, a good selection of fresh produce, and a really nice fish market. I typically buy frozen fish, but sometimes get live lobsters or steamer clams there for a really good price. I typically get around 70% of my grocery shopping done there, so they really do have a ton of what I need.

Best prices to food shop, lowest I have ever seen! Fresh produce, great quality and inexpensive meat department, all around large variety of everything in the store you could think of. Workers always willing to help you. Their name tags show the number of years theyve worked for Market Basket. Showing the low turnover rate (many many years) means their workplace happiness is a very important aspect to be successful business. And Market Basket cares about their employees -unlike other inexpensive places to shop.

Very nice market with a good amount of selection of high quality produce, meat, etc. I think the organization can be improved. For example, when looking for spices/sauces that go with beef, I have to go to the beef area, and if I am looking for spices/sauces that go with fish, I have to go to the seafood area. I think it would be better to have all the spices and sauces in a spices and sauces section. I was also surprised they didnt have salmon cake mix.

Great selection, great quality, to excellent prices, clean store and amazing prepared foods selection. The sushi, finger sandwiches and roasted chickens are part of our regular purchases. Dont forget to add a bag of their fresh popped popcorn, it tastes just like you are at the movies. If you love caramel popcorn their homemade version is delicious. Great place to buy desserts the options are endless from basic to classy.

The younger newer boys lack the experience to be qualified baggers. In my time with market basket, Ive never had to endure this type of behavior. They put bread and eggs on the bottom, and their ego on top. They stored my sushi in such a way, that when I unpacked it, wasabi was LITERALLY spilling and messing and destroying my sushi... And my life. Tell your market basket boys to become market basket men!!!

This is a great store - they offer selection as well as great prices. Try not to go on Sunday if you dont like things crowded. The employees are all friendly, which for me is a huge plus. I cant stand shopping in a store with obviously unengaged and unhappy employees. They have a nice cafe area where you can sit and eat whatever you buy from their prepared foods offerings. Good place to bring kids.

I shop @ this MB location regularly. Like it better than the one in Ashland. The only thing I miss is better quality cherry tomatoes. I like those in BJs and wish MB offered same brands (sunsweet) or at least comparable quality. Also they recently rearranged the dairy section and it drives me nuts. Other than that Im happy customer. Keep up the good job!

Its convenient and prices are good... Just not overly clean but not dirty either. They seriously need to learn too bag groceries. I have called and spoken with manager over and over about this. You get to your car and just rebag it in your car or it would be ruined by they time you get home. Hot and frozen same bags. Veggies squished.

I shop at a Market Basket (which I enjoy more than most other supermarkets) a bit closer to home but this one is slightly better than that. I probably wouldnt use it because I like to get my shopping done quickly but there is a cafe right near the bakery. If youre into snacking while you shop, I guess thats cool.

Great prices but in need of a make over. SO many people go here you can not move and this is one of the older ones so isles are small I fell trapped and end up driving to Nashua to the new one even though its miles out of my way. Please invest in this one and make it better for us all.
