I got my second tattoo today at Hourglass. There is not enough praise that can be said for that place. Staff was extremely friendly and they walked me through it like pros. The tattoo artist has tons of experience and did a great job. More importantly, unlike most tattoo places, Andy uses a rotating needle that is almost painless. I gotta say, my other tattoo hurt about a thousand times more than this one, and it is not as big or complicated. The location is also good, only about ten minutes walk from either Harvard or Porter T stations. Lastly, you cant beat those prices, only 125 dollars an hour. If you want a tattoo, go here.

I cant believe how fast it went from consultation to the actual inking phase...like 2 hours total. I went it just to schedule an appt but the guy started drawing up designs and before I knew it I was on the chair getting my second tattoo. Plus this was $30 cheeper then my first tattoo. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone considering getting a tat

I was a walk in, Sanjay took the drawing I had made and drew it up in no time, he brought a memory back to life; amazing amazing work he made me feel comfortable and his work ethic is excellent, you guys need to experience this guy! Great environment with a pool table and plenty of lounging chairs. Although I was never hanging out that long. Good artist portfolios, I worked with Suze on who knew her stuff and didnt want to put a tattoo on someone that was going to turn out less than prefect.a
