I have gone to Ace Hardware in Acton for over a decade. They have always been helpful and honest. The staff is excellent. They know the quality and functionality of their products they have. Often I get things that I end up not needing. I simply take them back and get the credit. This makes it easy for a non specialist fix things in his own house. If I describe what I need and they dont think they have the right ones, they tell me. While this does not happen often, it gives me more confidence I am in the right place. Moreover, they are part of the community supporting events like Acton Clean Up Day. This store is an asset to the area.

Great, friendly local hardware store, the type that seems to be harder and harder to find. My only gripe is that they tend not to stock enough of the items they have (I always arrive just minutes after they "just sold the last one"), and/or just dont carry enough variety. Id like them to focus more on true hardware and tools, instead of the knickknack section in the front that takes up a lot of space, but does not add much value.

A Private User

I have been going to this store 2-3 times a week for 10+years but never again. They had an advertised sale that everything you could fit in a large paint bucket was 20% off. By the time I got there 3:00pm they we out of buckets and would not give me the 20% off on my two small purchases. Dont trust this store. If they dont honor their sales how well will they honor returns, warrenty or anything else. Never again.

Mark is a customer service oriented owner and so is his helpful staff. Ive been an Acton Ace Hardware customer since the last millennium and Ive been happy finding most of my needs there. Sure, the net is a resource but I like to support our local businesses, too, being a Middlesex West Chamber member. Ace is the place for certain.

The staff is friendly and helpful. Its usual that someone is standing near the front door to welcome you and ask if they can help you find something. I love that they hire many of the local high school students. Additionally, this store is a great supporter of various community efforts! Shop local!!

Fun place to go. Not only do they have all the home maintenance and improvement items youd expect, they also carry a selection of pretty and practical kitchen, dining and gift items. Fun stuff for us ladies. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
