My grandmother INSISTED that I buy her new tires from Sears. Apparently my grandparents have been customers of this exact Sears Auto Center for over 20 years. I went in and had such a bad experience that I left. She insisted once again that I go, saying that she would pay for the tires because they HAD TO BE FROM SEARS. I was quoted 1 hour to 1.5 hours of wait time. They gave NO DISCOUNT on any of the tires or services involved with changing them. After 2 hours, I received a phone call, the technician could not pull the TPMS sensor out of one of the old tires. I said I did not care, leave it. The manager informed me that I had to buy a new TPMS sensor ($120) or they would put the old tires, including the one with the hole in it, back on the car. Naturally, my grandmother caved and bought the sensor. After 4 hours of waiting, the car was finally ready. When I asked what happened, they told me that they had to drive to Eldersberg (1.5 hour round trip) and no one had even told me. They told me they could not get the Tire Pressure Sensor light to turn off, but not to worry, it would go off within 60-100 miles. The Tire Pressure Sensor light is still on. Not only did we receive no discount on the tires, but by the time you tally up all of the additional service charges, and the TPMS sensor, a set of 4x$100 tires cost us $750. DO NOT buy tires from this Sears.

Warning they would not honor a 4 year warranty on a battery only 2 years old. They told me their tester said battery good but needed charged. That was the problem the battery wouldnt hold charge and would not start my truck. Went to Auto Zone and purchased a new battery and now my truck starts like it should proves their battery was bad. Was treated poorly by manager Harry he is not concerned with customer satisfaction. I have been loyal to them for over 20 years and spent thousands with them. I will never spend my hard earned money with Sears ever again.
