I have LOVED Angelos for beer/liquor for the years I have been here. Then tonight, a new guy tells me my military ID is not welcome. Told him the owner and everyone has taken it for years...and he said he was paying $5,000/fine out of his pocket. He said state law says you cant take military IDs as a form of identification for liquor. I have walked out of every restaurant that has done this over years, I feel like it is kind of a disrespect. Same guy I asked where they moved the Sparks to, his reply? They stopped carrying it, because he was talking football with one of his friends. I went an asked base legal. They said there is a law against vertical IDs, with military IDs as an exception. It is a sad day to stop going somewhere I have gotten to know everyone because of something so simple. Otherwise, great place. If they dont have something. Ask. They will get it.

Ridiculously over priced, small selection of beer and wine. Cramped store with few to no price labels on the shelves so it is always a surprise when you get to the register. Great customer service/friendly staff this is the only reason I would rate two stars.

Amazing Beer selection probably the best of all Waldorf. The guys there really know their stuff and are willing to even get a shipment of some amazing high quality beer and whiskey if youre really into it. Hands down best liquor store in the area.
