I have two issues with the same person here. The first complaint was from my husband who took our daughter there for her flu shot. We were brand new to the area just moving from out of state, not having a primary care physician set up and wanting to protect ourselves. The nurse practictioner, according to my husband- whos not too sweet himself- claimed that the Nurse Practictioner had no bedside manner and delt with our 6 year old very rough. The second complaint was from my own personal experience. I stopped by with my daughter one Sunday on my way to church with my daughter. She had spilled a little jam on her dress so I wanted to get some wipes and a tide pen to clean her up rather than taking her back home to change her dress. The NP came from out of her office/area and came toward my daughter complimenting her on her lovely dress saying that "God must be so pleased you got dressed up for him today"...she then turns to me (wearing a coat on top of a knee length sweater dress, black tights and dress shoes with a stern face and says "Im not so sure God would be pleased with mommys dress". I was so appalled but embarrassed so I could do nothing at first but try to justify my attire to this woman who decided to judge and offer her unsolicited advice on what her god would see fit for me- I eventually walked away and laughed nervously trying to shake off such an offensive and akward experience. I wish I had said something else back but I couldnt think of anything other than setting a good example for my child and getting out of the store. I can not believe this would happen and it hurt for this to happen in front of my child!

TWO TIMES! First time, my vet called them so we can pick up flovent (asthma inhaler) for our recently diagnosed cat. My sister called to make sure its there. We went there and guess what... they had no information about our cat. We were annoyed but then we thought "hey maybe the vet called the wrong one. Lets call them tomorrow when they are open." Next day, I called the vets and asked where they called. They gave me the information fitting this place and they said they will call them and then call me they did it. They called me and said it should be there but as an add precaution I called this place again. The women there said, "yep we got the call. It will be ready later today." So I thought, everything will be good... later that evening. My dad waited for at least 20 minutes after a long day at work (heavy labor work). GUESS WHAT THEY TOLD MY DAD. THEY HAD NO INFORMATION OF THIS SO CALLED CAT IN THEIR SYSTEM. DO THEY HATE HAVING TO FILL OUT MEDICINE FOR CATS? ARE THEY PLAYING A JOKE? IM NOT LAUGHING. IF I COULD I WOULD HAVE GIVEN NO STARS. I AM BEYOND MAD.

There are 2 amazing Pharmacy ladies at this location. I did get one of their names (Cherice). I have type 1 diabetes and pay at least 323.00 for one of my insulins and 400.00 for the other. One of the ladies asked me if I had the savings plan from the manufacturer for my Levemir prescription. She took her time helping me sign up for it on my phone. It didnt wokr right away but she said she would refund me once I got it to work...because I didnt want to hold up the line. I found out it had to be activated and returned shortly after to the store to try it again. Cherice said the other lady was still working on my account, even after I left, because she wanted to help me so much. I was shocked. It turned out that instead of owing 323.39 for the Levemir...I only owed 75.00 for a 90 day supply. I actually teared up and continuously thanked them both so much for taking the time with me and working to get me the best price. I will not go to any other pharmacy again. THANK YOU ladies!! You made my year!!! :)

Huge issue with this... I know things can be confusing at times in the Pharmacy when it comes to prior authorization but this was not even the case. The guy in his mid 20s with brown hair, working at 9am on July 30th not only spelled my name wrong but also put the wrong policy number in. My doctor had to call and straighten things out. Apparently this jack*** couldnt even read the screen to realize he was trying to fill for a man and I am a very obvious female ha. He got an attitude with me because I kept saying I have authorization and there is no way this can be.. and turns out I was right. If I had done what this guy said I would have waited nearly a week, just to hand in my ID and probably be sent away because I am Danielle NOT Eric. Good thing I can survive without this particular medicine and also good thing that I did not wait around for them and went to Walgreens down the street. My script was filled within the hour.

I also have very bad experience about the MinuteClinic Nurse Practitioner. As a out of state patient I took my 3.5 year old son to her with an ear infection and she emphasized that he is in such a bad condition that he need a very special drop which costs 150 bucks. We did used that trusting her and then after 2 weeks with insurance setup, when visited his new pediatrician, she was so surprised to see that he was not prescribed ordinary ear drops for the issue. Her look is also not professional as well as her behavior. Plus we learned hard way that if you need to stop by these clinics for whatever reason, do not ever get branded drugs, use generic ones and earliest possible time see a doctor. She is a rip-off for sure.

STAY AWAY FROM PHARMACY! Lots of 20 somethings working here who dont care about customers, and only care about getting through their day. Literally had to make 5 trips (1 to drop of, 1 to pick up, 1 to pick up again, 1 to ask why insurance wasnt billed, and 1 to get refund) to get 1 PX filled. Like most chain stores they dont care because its not their money to lose. The best part is the PX was there at the 1st pickup everyones to stupid to figure whats going on. When they find it they charge wrong. When they fix it, they lie to your face and say "we care sir" HAHA ood thing their regional manager only comes in once a year so they dont see how poorly this place is ran. Oh...great location.

I recently had to switch to Walgreens because of the type of insurance that I have now, but I had been going to this CVS for about a decade and I never had a problem. I mean that. Never. The employees were always friendly and I got my medicines when I needed them. I cant believe this pharmacy has a two star rating. I wish I hadnt have had to switch, although the Walgreens Im going to has been great so far. But if I had had the choice, I would have stayed with my CVS at 1001 York Rd.!!!

Waited on phone for 10 minutes to call in a prescription refill. The automated refill system did not answer the phone. No one in the store, which was reasonably slow, answered the phone (2100,hrs to 2115 hrs.) Insufficient # of staff in store to provide the bare minimum of customer service in the pharmacy (yet again.) One oF the pharmacy techs tried to rip-off our CVS rewards on a purchase the other night. It is time to think about moving to Walgreens.
