Potential Customers Beware of the P,P,&G Assholes. Being one of only a few pawn shops in Pasadena must be the reason someone would even look twice at this place. The owner and manager are about as unprofessional as Ive ever had the misfortune to meet. He has an attitude towards his customers that says "Im in the wrong line of work." or "Im this miserable P.O.S., so take my horrible offers or leave." Granted that is his business and he has the right to run it the way he wants, But if he intends to stay in business and continue dealing with customers he needs to take some of that money he is profiting off on(by ripping off customers and reselling the same stuff for 5xs what hell pay you for it) and buy himself a new personality, any new one would be an improvement. I personally wont recommend the surrounding businesses to anyone, out of fear they may accidentally run into the staff at P P & G. The negative attitudes from the people at P P & G is outdone only by their buying and selling practices. Ive done enough business with other cash for gold businesses and pawn shops to know that most of them will undercut you a bit and then sell for much higher, thats normal. However P P & G takes this to a whole new level and degree, one enough to make you sick. I understand most people wont heed my warning but to those who do: Beware of these rip off artist, they are assholes, and not worth the hassle or your own efforts. Make the drive to Glen Burnie or Severna Park there are allot better options a short distance away.

I went to this pawn shop hoping to purchase my first firearm...upon entering the store I was barely greeted by an older woman, no big deal....she hardly spoke as she pulled each gun out for me to look at. Every time I had a question she would refer to a guy sitting in the back who wouldnt even look up to speak to me. This was extremely unprofessional and I dont know they wouldnt have someone with some knowledge come to help me...the man in the back was very stand offish and unfriendly...not only was the customer service horrible but their prices are outrageous....they wanted 675 for a used xdm when every other retail location I called was asking 620-650 for a brand new one....needless to say I walked out of this store as soon as could....i dont know why the hell you are going to open a retail store and then be completely unprofessional and rude to your customers....if I could give zero stars I would.

I went in today to sell a ring that I got from Caplans Auction House in Savage Mills. This was my first time ever being in this pawn shop and the second I asked to sell it, the older man started interrogating me. Verbatim "Is this yours, boy" is what he said. I was dumbfounded by his rudeness to a customer he has never worked with before. The younger guy with the long beard then followed him up by asking me if I knew what happened to thieves that try pawning stuff. I then made my own remarks to both of them and left. I assume they think that I stole the ring because I am in my early 20s. I attend auctions, estate sales, etc every weekend and try making profit on what I buy. I have never been this disrespected or experienced this bad of customer service from any business.

Bad experience several years ago. These guys gave bad info on 8th day release of handguns prior to implementation of HQL and insisted 8 days from whenever MD State Police approve, not receive, application (this was when MSP was taking weeks to months to approve transfers). Refused to allow pickup when legally permissible and refused refund on the basis of all firearm sales final, even if transfer was not completed. To be fair, MSP has made their approval system much more straight forward and timely post-HQL. And also to be fair, this was based on an event about 3.5 years ago. Prices were also very high compare to other area gun shops. A lot could have changed for this place but I have no interest in going back to find out.

I went to Pasadena Pawn and Gun to perform a person-to-person handgun transfer with an out of state family member... after going to another shop in Odenton, and being given information which contradicted MSP rules. The folks at Pasadena Pawn and Gun explained the law, the procedures, and everything I needed to know in order to do the transfer. They were incredibly helpful, friendly, and down to Earth. Everything went smoothly and quickly. Not just the service, but their shop is like a museum. You can find weapons in there from all kinds of eras. So many US made guns that won historic wars... and non-US arms that lost the same wars. I will definitely be going back for my next purchase.

Very abrasive folks in that establishment. I have given them at least 10 different visits and they frankly act like they didnt want my business or like I was an inconvenience for asking to look at one of their overpriced firearms. The last straw was when the fat one said I had to show him that new Maryland tyranny permit to LOOK at one of their handguns. The only reason I went in as many times as I did was because they are the closest FFL to my house. I will not be going back and strongly recommend no one go through the frustration and disrespect I did. By the way - I have heard from multiple shooting buddies having similar experiences so it isnt as simple as "they just didnt like me".

Ive made several purchases at this shop. I was trying to support a local business. I will be shopping elsewhere for my firearms needs. Their prices are inflated, and their attitude is poor. In times like these I would expect that gun shops would be trying to establish good relationships with local law abiding gun owners. They can keep their attitude, and Ill keep my cash. Look around the area first before supporting their shop, You will find other shops with better pricing, and disposition. These guys are taking advantage of a sellers market. Maryland gun owners need to support the right businesses in times like these.

Bought a Sig from this place about a year ago. Had all my paper work submitted and I got a call from them about my Maryland handgun license. The old man told me my number was not correct because it was suppose to end with specific digits. After calling me a liar I verified it on my ID card and with the State Police and told him he was incorrect and my number was right. The old man told me fine, but if I was lying I would go to jail. I will never go back and would recommend anyone to go somewhere else. Horrible people skills and customer service.

I have bought 2 handguns from here in the past 3 months. I have gotten great service both times. They had exactly what I was looking for both times. The gun smith there is great also. I enjoyed just talking to him about the older guns they had up on the walls and he told me a few stories that had to go with them. Will continue to give them my business.

Ive never pawned anything or owned a gun but I met Frank Sr. about a year ago doing some work for him. He is definately one of the Good Guys and I know where to go if I ever need someone in his field. They have a great selection and a great shop. Its clean, classy, and comfortable. Certainly not your stereotypical pawn shop. Check it out!
