Roses rocks. Dont be in a hurry when you come in here. Especially if you are a woman and like shopping for clothes. And if so dont bring the fam because you will take forever and they will be annoyed lol. There is a ton of cheap merchandise in here - the store has crazy inventory. If you forgot to bring something on your OC Vaca - Roses will have it. Coolers, Lawn furniture, beach toys, bedroom curtains, bras, back scratchers, clothes and bathing suits, cheap kitschy beach nic-nacs you name it. Their collection of womens sundresses is fabulous - the drawback is that they only have a couple of dressing rooms for the whole store and they are cramped and old (the whole store inside is very outdated - its like it was forgotten lol). Not very inviting. Staff is pleasant, tho!

I really like that they pretty much have everything including plus size regular and OC clothing at cheaper prices. This store gives me cheaper prices than boardwalk clothing in my size (and what I cant find in womens, I look at the mens section and usually find either/or gender clothing). I usually cant find anything on the boardwalk thats bigger than an XL in adolescent sizes. They also have kids stuff too. Comparing them to other stores, I would say they have parts of a Big Lots store and a Gabes store combined. Also, their hours are 9a-9p mon-sat, 10a-8p sun.

Got to the counter and they charged me $25 and was ignorant to me when I mentioned it was under a sign that said $15.. she told me "well its not $15 its $25." I said then i dont want it, she says, "well sign the receipt anyway"... , So I took the manager back and showed him, and he said well the signs for the ones in the top rack. I pointed out the sign under the coolers too. He ripped the signs down. I will never shop there again... VERY POOR customer service.,

If youre looking for a big dollar store/department store to buy anything and everything you need to decorate a condo, snack on, or play with at the beach, this is the place. Everything from affordable vacuum cleaners, to socks, to beach toys can be found here! Ive lived in the area for two summers now and finding anything cheap at a department store is tough. I rely on Roses quite often in order to stay within my strict budget.

I would say this place really has some great deals. I would much rather go here than the Sunsations that litter the coastal highway. I got a 12 dollar chair for the beach that worked great and got some good flip flops for 5 bucks. Its cheaper than most other places on the strip. It is a little dirty and haphazard but its more than I expected when I walked into this place.

This place is a dump. If you need junk, this is your spot. All overstock, seconds, returns, no name brands and outdated garbage. Yeah, $30 bucks for a knockoff CD player? How about $60 for a junk beach chair? How this place stays in business is a real wonder. I thought it was illegal to sell food past its expiration, but there is plenty here. Stay away!

If theres anything you forgot on your way to Ocean City you can find it here! Beach supplies, camping supplies, clothes, anything and everything! Its not the most organized place, but its worth it to dig to find what you want. Prices are great too! A gigantic dollar store at the Beach!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT SUNSATIONS. This place has everything you need at a cheaper price. I needed a beach towel, they have extra large bath towels for $5 each in many colors. Beach stuff is way cheaper here than other beach/ boardwalk stores.

Dont go here if you are wanting a "Target" type place. Reminds me of "Ollies" from PA where you will find something you dont need every visit but buy anyhow because it is so cheap. Great place to get decorative things for your ocean condo.

Value store comparison to an Ollies or Christmas Tree Shop. Has a large selection of everything at low prices. Bought a skim board for $12.50, Goggles $5.50, Beach mat $2.00 not sure how long theyll last but who cares at those prices.

It has what you forgot to pack for a vacation to OC at good prices. It isnt very organized or updated. My brother in law and I laughed on the way out when I noticed the award on the wall for the employees of the month for 1987!

Although it leaves something to be desired. I love to shop here. I always go to find fun sunglasses really cheap. (<$5). I stock up until my next trip. Also, they are good for fun beach souvies.

Slightly overrated, they dont sell regular Shorts, only "Denim" Shorts, their is no room to walk sometimes like the products are too close to eachother. A lot to choose from though.
