We shop here on a regular basis . The employees are all very nice. The store is fairly clean (smells a little moldy as you enter maybe from some onions or potatoes ? but thats the only complaint ) and shelves are kept stocked. Nice produce for the most part. Nice selection of meat. Horrible bakery items but thats not this particular stores fault... its just the brands offered are not good quality. (We used to shop at the Bladensburg Save A Lot and that store is not as nice as this one). We love it when they mark down items. I once bought several bottles of REAL Vanilla for 25 c each. They regularly mark down eggs on Fridays. Items we like at SaveALot Jennie O Ground Turkey, Coburn Farms UNsweetened Almond MIlk, their Pizza Crust baggie, thick bacon, their K cup coffee pods are good and work with 2.0 Keurig brewers. They offer Cadbury Chocolate bars. Really cant say anything bad about this store. We shop here at least once a week.

Decent prices. Often run out of various items. Male cashiers are VERY rude. I visited recently and one of the cashiers (I believe his name is Jerrell, hes a middle-aged black guy) had an unpleasant attitude- his supervisor told him to ring up customers at another line and at first he protested (very unprofessional) and then was sighing and rolling his eyes and even stopped what he was doing to talk to chat with one of his co-workers as he processed our groceries and payment (again unprofessional). Female cashiers are more productive and helpful and have professional attitudes, as a contrast.

They can have some great deals on produce and fresh meat, but you have to go early in their sale week because they can sell out fast.
