Overpriced, rental department with endless paperwork and lies. Claim their lifts are taller than they are - height is stamped right on them. Paperwork takes 45 minutes-1hour. The mandatory "training" is forced upon you even if you rent the same piece of equipment twice a week. Grand Rentals is cheaper and they take less than 5 minutes in and out.

I will no longer shop JBK Hardware in chestertown. Even with gas prices it is cheaper to shop Lowes in DE. I went to buy some items today 11/09/2010 and was shocked by the price of a 1x2x8 piece of lumber. ($16.99) for one! I was looking to see if it was laced with silver. I go to Annapolis twice a week, things are much cheaper there.

JBK is just the best. They have an extremely knowledgeable staff who is always readily available. We are extremely fortunate to have a store like JBK in our town. Kudos to them for doing such a great job!

Good place to get stuff down fall is they have no fans or lighting gotta go all the way to dover for that other then that nice place to get lawn n garden stuff n small home repair work stuff.

Even though I can go on Amazon or go to the big box stores and get it cheaper. I much rather deal with the knows legal staff on a local level. Keep up the good work.
