I now make a point of stopping by every time I am in Bethesda. I last stopped in cork 57 a few weeks ago and was really impressed with the selection. The owner was very friendly and knew so much about wine....he really went out of his way to help. I have been to many different wine stores and have always had problems finding an organic pinot grigio...cork 57 had it! It was a fantastic price ($13) and a really, really good wine as well.

The selection of wine and beer is broad in the store and they are helpful and happy to take any orders if they dont have what you want in the store. The staff are knowledgeable about the wines and can help you choose a new one for your taste or occasion. Ive always been satisfied with any wine I just wander in and pick up without paying too much attention, meaning I dont think theres a bad wine in the house.

Great selection. I love the wine selection here. Very thought out varieties and reasonably priced. This place fulfills my wine addiction needs long away from NYC! Where can you go and get a wine recommendation from sommelier before you buy at a store in Bethesda? I still go here even though i moved to N. Bethesda.

Neat selection, but pretty much everything is way overpriced. $9.50 for a 6 of Longhammer IPA "On sale." Yeah, not impressive at all. One of my favorite bottles of wine, Cloudline, is $30 here, but $22-25 other places. Not worth it.

They have the standard beer, but have an incredible amount of non-traditional beers. The owner claims to have over 300 different types of beer there and plans to expand to 400. They are open til 12 I think M-Sat, so that is useful.
