Shopping at the Tractor Supply Co. at 1161 Broadway, Bangor ME is an extremely frustrating experience. Whenever I have went there to pick an item that is on sale, I face the same situation. There is only one cashier available that is clearly unable to perform her job. She makes errors then attempts to get assistance from her manager. He is wandering around the store avoiding having to do anything. When the line becomes ridiculously long then he finally comes up to help. By then all the customers are annoyed. This location is poorly run. It is a very unpleasant shopping experience at this store. Even though the sales are good it still does not make it worthwhile to shop there due to this. Unless there is a change in management, I will no longer shop at this store.

Are any managers actually employed at this store? Anytime I ask for a manager I get the run around. He has a day off. He left early. He doesnt work until later. Is there only one manager at this store? Then sometimes I get to talk to a different member of the staff that cant help me. I finally went to the Dover Foxcroft store where I was helped by a manager who actually goes to work. You missed out on over $800 worth of business and I will go out of my way to take my business to them from now on. The other Tractor Supply stores have set higher expectations for customer service and your just not meeting them.

I wanted to buy trailer tires at the Bangor, Maine store, but the pricing for 4 ply and 6 ply were mistakenly the same. The manager said that the price was the price and that was it. I found him rude and unwilling to even try to resolve the issue. One employee does not make a store, but can certainly give it a bad rep.

This is the place I like to get my pellets. Theyre usually a hardwood in a TS branded bag and my stove burns these very well. They also keep my chainsaw running right and the chain sharp. Fast and friendly service. Pet supplies, horse tack, lawn and garden supplies. Theyve got it covered.

I feel it was inappropriate when an employee offered to show me his "special greased transaxle" when I asked about a repair to my buford 620-ldi dynothrust bushing torque converter.
