We bought an Ashley furniture sectional with recliners on both ends. A fairly expensive couch. Within a month Furniture Gallery was out to fix it. It started making the same noise again and we were told that parts would be covered but not labor. Well they didnt have to replace any parts the first time, it was an issue with the springs. So we sold it after only owning it for 14 months. We bought a new couch and a rocking recliner. Stupid us bought Ashley again. The day after we got the Ashley rocking recliner home I noticed a small piece of metal on the ground. I had no idea where it would have come from. About an hour later I noticed that my 12 month old had something in his mouth. I went over, opened his mouth and found a piece of the zipper mechanism. I took it out and looked under the chair. There were numerous metal prices under the chair. I called furniture gallery to explain what had happened. They offered to order a new arm rest. The arm rest will only take a week or so to get but we would have to wait until March to have it installed, unless we take time off from work to have an Ashley rocking recliner fixed that is less than a week old. Another option is we could bring it back to the store and they would reimburse us and we could pick out another. It would take 2-4 weeks to order the same one. I inquired about a more expensive one to see if they would substitute it for this defective one. I was told that was not an option. So, there are no good options for the customer. Either wait almost a month to have it repaired (unless we take time off), wait 2-4 weeks for a new one or bring it back and receive ZERO for the inconvenience of a day old Ashley rocking recliner breaking. The ideal outcome here would have been us bringing the defective Ashley rocking recliner back and them exchanging it for the one that was less than $100 more.

Went looking for a recliner for my wife. She is only 411 so it had to be a lower seat than most recliners. Saw an ad in the Bangor Daily News for Furniture Gallery.Got there ( 100 miles from home) saw the store front and our first thought was a very expensive looking place but we figured after the long drive we would look any way. When we walked in we were greeted by a friendly salesman. He told us to look around and if we needed help to let him know. Because of both of us being disabled I told him exactly what we needed.He said the recliners are upstairs !! Then he explained there was an elevator !! He met us upstairs and directed us t the recliner section. No pressure at all just help.He showed us a couple of different styles they had that were short in the seat. We found exactly what we wanted and it was very reasonably priced. Still no pressure !! We told him we would take it and we went back down the elevator to where the sales secretary was.Finished the paper work and were on our way.. This is a very professional business establishment. we will definitely go back there next time we need furniture.

Absolutely horrible service at this business. Walked around the store twice and no employee asked to help us at all. We even had one employee glare at us across the store and walk away from us to stare out the window. I brought my truck planning to buy an entire living room set today. This business will never get any of my hard earned money I suggest you dont waste your time either.

Furniture Gallery has an excellent selection with reasonable prices. Above and beyond that though; one of the best customer service experiences Ive ever had! Their customer service manager, Karla, stepped up twice to replace pieces damaged in transport/delivery. With no questions asked, they have completely exceeded any expectations I had. Highly suggest doing business with them.

We bought a couch and chair on my brother in laws recommendation. The couch broke 8 months later(we barely sat on it). They were wonderful with getting someone out to evaluate it then sending a replacement. Highly recommend this store- good customer service, nice furniture.
