Me and a buddy was fishing shopping and as shopping a worker asked if we needed help I asked a question about where something is he showed me then slowly left seconds later we see him with a shopping car acting like he was doing something but he was following us on an a mother guy started following us also as if we was stealing something it made me feel like I wasnt valued as a customer so I stopped looking for what I needed and paid for what was on my cart already and left please ur customers need their space

Academy does have competitive pricing and good brands, so they attract the masses. However, every time I visit the Lafayette location they are swamped with very little help. The shoes are always out of order and I can never find what I need. While the prices are what keeps me going there its really only convenient if I need to try something on in a different color and order what I want online.

My favorite store for getting ready for hunting season because they have expensive and inexpensive operations for everything needed to make a hunting trip in the United States. Great place to buy a wide range of name brand clothes/footwear for athletes, sport fans, fishing anglers, hunting enthusiasts and the blue collar working man.

Academy sports is the place to be, everyone was really friendly and prices are reasonable. Only issue was a mislabeled duck call. It was labeled 7.99 and they said 14.99. I went back there, took a pic and they still said it was 14.99, but they have it to me for the listed price so all good

i went in to get my dog some catfish food but they dont even sell kites. the amoun tof camoflage was completely triggering. a worker was staring at my petosh the entire time i felt so violatedf. the knives were duller than my persoonality and the guns remnded me of daddy trumpo.

They have some decent clearance prices and you can find just about anything you need for hunting and fishing. They also set fitness gear including fitness electronics such as Garmin and Fitbit. Regular priced can be a little high, but the merchandise is quality.

Amazing management and staff. My daughters tactical boots were to small and needed them by 9 this am. I called the store talked with the Manager he allowed us to get the boots before the store was opened. He saved the veterans day program!!!

Went in for a kite to fly outdoors. Asked 3 different employees. They told me different locations around the store. I dont think they even sell kites now. Not even in the toy and sports section. Employees lack knowledge of the store.

Door greeter did not check our returns as she was talking with a coworker. Manager had to tell us to go back to front, then while trying to navigate 3 return lines, same greeter told my wife she wasnt listening. Not cool.
