This is my go-to place for a late lunch and quiet place to work. The lighting is nice since its not directly over the tables and highlights local art displayed on the wall. The Mercato salad is always a tasty choice, with mixed greens, cucumber, tomato, purple onion, sunflower seeds and a yummy, home-made balsamic vinaigrette. I usually add grilled chicken, and I really like that some of the veggies, such as the onion and red peppers, come a little warm on top. The cafe gets busy in waves like most places, but I can usually grab a booth in the back, with a plug-in nearby and free wi-fi. It gets 4 stars rather than 5 because of poor ventilation. When they are grilling, it definitely gets hazy inside.

We both had a panini and they were delicious. My macchiato was so dark and made my soul happy. The gelato? Fuhget about it... Seriously though, the gelato was amazing, even when it was softer than usual due to a refrigerator issue; they even gave us extra because it was "sub-par", according to the gentleman at the front! Well definitely be going back. Like, tonight.

Great latte They are one of the machiatto purists that claim a machiatto is expresso with dollop of milk, so a little different terminology. Other than that, great shop. Great for families to, with fun ice cream sculpture, gelato, coloring books, etc. Very well done Free Wi-Fi

OMG. This was the best panin Ive had in the baton rouge area. My panin had zuchini,chicken, and mushrooms in it. MMMMM good. A little pricey but it was good. It taste better than the one I get from Whole Foods. I will return. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Best gelato and espresso in the city, by far. Love the Il Pollo salad and the Bianca panini, but everything here is fresh and delicious! Theres always cool art on the walls, the staff is super friendly. Great for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Love this place!

Great experience and great food. People are super friendly and take genuine interest in you. I had the LaRocca Panini and the ingredients were super fresh and prepared well. The gelato is great too. Awesome flavors. Definitely recommend a visit.

Loved the sandwiches.. monteleone w mushrooms is my favorite and my wife really likes the Bianca! The thing that sets this place apart is the knowledgeable and super friendly staff. They really make you feel special every visit!

Im pretty sure La Divinas paninis could solve all of the worlds problems if everyone ate here regularly. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is sweet, and their hibiscus iced tea is the perfect companion to any menu choice.

Really good breakfast options. Frittata was great. Nice homemade cakes which arent overly sweet! Coffee is not bad either. Lots of gelato choices. Will make this a regular place for breakfast/lunch when in Baton Rouge.
