Our first experience with the Shepherdsville 44 Auto Mart we left without purchasing the vehicle we went to look at. They did not want to work with us on the price. The only thing they wanted to do was lower my interest rate, which should have been done in the first place they had already told me my credit was good enought I could buy any car/truck we wanted. We went to their Bardstown location and we were treated great and left with a truck. Our second experience my son went on his own and was over charged for the truck, ( I went to refinance and the bank told me the amount they would finance for this truck was much lower then the asking price) they told him they would call the bank and try to get him a better interest rate the next day because it was getting late and call him back. Well they called but only to ask for insurance info. I called to give the insurance information and asked about the interest rate and was told the bank hadnt called back. I called again to speak to the manager but of course he never returned my call. Two bad experiences with Shepherdsville location will not be back.

If you are considering purchasing from 44, please dont. Save yourself NOW. We signed papers on our car and not even 24 hours after, the transmission light came on and was overhearing. They said they could "take a look at it" but also said that they ran diagnostics and everything checked out fine. Said they topped off all fluids, changed the oil and it passed inspection. Well, $3,000 later, here we are dripping our truck off at the mechanic to have the transmission REBUILT because its toast. Weve waited on call backs from the "managers" but nothing. They never once said theyd fix a thing, just kept jacking us around. AND my husband checked the oil and its completely black. Theres no telling the last time it has been changed. So now we have a nifty car payment and a loan payment for this transmission. So please, save yourself and go somewhere else!

i have had nothing but great experiences with 44 auto mart. i have bought 3 cars over the last 2 years, and havent had a problem one. the last vehicle i bought had some issues i didnt notice when i purchased it, and THREE MONTHS LATER, i mentioned it to them, not expecting them to do anything, and to my surprise, they paid for all expenses for necessary repairs because the manager said "its the right thing to do." my youngest son will be 16 in january, and i can assure you i will be returning for another great vehicle from 44. im sorry to hear of the negative experiences from the previous reviews, but each person is different. my salesman even called me 6 months later just to see if i was still happy with my vehicles! i highly recommend a car or truck from 44. very clean, low mile, and great priced vehicles! see you soon 44!

The only reason I would give this place a 2 is because the vehicles that they sell actually look nice. Dont let that fool you because looks arent everything here. Now some of the vehicles are ok but you are better off playing the lotto honestly. I always heard that 44 was terrible but I decided to give them a chance. Boy was I wrong, they act like they care when they really dont they do not stand behind their word or their vehicles after you buy them. First of all if you havent bought anything yet DONT! And if you are there now setting in a cubicle reading this just leave trust me I wish I would have! Instead I was out $3,000 4 weeks later. Secondly make sure you take it to get it looked by a trusted mechanic. And lastly if you buy ANYTHING from this stealership get an extened warranty!

They sold me a 2006 Honda Civic that they assured me went through their service department and everything checked out Good. So I purchased a vehicle that night on my way home the engine light has came on I woke up the next morning for work my car wouldnt start call the dealership and ask them to fix it since I bought the car 12 hours ago, they took the car for three days to resolve the issue I got the car back and the next morning they gave me no paper work on what they did and the same problems happened that night. Nick the salesman Lies on behalf of the company. Please dont make the same mistake I did by going here for an auto Mobile

We had been looking at several trucks on the internet and came across one at 44 Automart. We called them to be sure they had not sold it as that had happened to us once at another dealer. Sure enought the truck was there and seemed to be the same one as one the internet. They did not give us exactly what we wanted on our trade-in but it was ok, they say we were asking retail prices. We did get it financed there and the rate was not too bad as it fit into our budget. Everything went good after that and I would recommend them for any car or truck as the truck is running good.

First of all they have a very good selection. The buyers do a good job. Their website is not so up to date so call to make sure the car you are interested in is available at the location indicated. The carfax is not on the website but call and they will tell you the owners, etc. I purchased a car in excellent condition at a fair price. So far, so good. Do your homework. Test drive the car, check the Carfax and pay for an independent inspection if you decide on a car. Any used car can have issues and it is much better to find the issues before you complete the sale.

I have purchased multiple vehicles from 44 and will only buy from them in the future. I was treated kindly and they were extemely helpful. As a single woman buying a used vehicle on my own they helped me in every way. I think that most of the negative reviews come from people that dont truly understand that you are purchashing a USED vehicle. They are not brand new. Have the vehicle checked out as 44 recommend I do. Have your own mechanic check it out for you. I love my vehicle and I will send everyone I know there to buy their next vehicle.

They sold me a 2006 malibu, when i went to pick up the car the cd player didnt work then less than a week later the car started turning over. They said that it was just a recall or something and that it couldnt be fixed the next day my battery went completly dead, i am know trying to get them to pay for a new battery. Steve is the best person to buy from he will do everything to make his customers happy even when things dont turn out the way they are supposed to.

Drove 30 mins out to go look at a vehicle. When we were out on a test drive he treated me like a child. When I brought up my wife he made me feel as if I was some sort of a lesser man because I had to talk to her first. He was extremely pushy and was the worst experience I have had at a dealership. Wish I had his name but I gave his card back when I left. I would be suspicious of the positive reviews that dont show who posted them.
