Im not going to go all CAPS LOCK about this business but I would like to offer my experience. I ordered a Shimano cap tool for a set of cranks from the Amazon site. I knew the previous owner and so I thought it would be just like it always was. I ordered it late Thursday night but was sure it would ship out Friday or Saturday. Called on Monday and was informed that it takes two days for processing. So it would not ship until Tuesday. Really? Youre a small local bike shop. Youre open on Saturdays. Pop it in a small envelope and hand it to Postman Pat. My cranks have been sitting for five calendar days waiting for this tool while you process the order. Called my LBS and bought it there instead. Emailed Xtreme to request they cancel my order. Received a somewhat terse reply that they would ask the shipping department to cancel the order before it ships. Really? Do you mean tell the other employee? I thought the order was processing. It went on to say that it states on their page that there is a 2-4 day processing time and that it may take a few days before I received a refund. Almost giving the impression that they are doing me a favor for letting me cancel an order. I know that email can give a false impression of the senders intent, but it comes across as rude. If I didnt need the tool I wouldnt have an issue. But there are too many other retailers that will ship the same or next day. And not make you feel like you are an inconvenience when you contact them. Maybe its different if you are in the store, but felt they were a bit hostile and defensive via email. I wont say that I would never order from them, but not if it is something important that I need right away. Which, unfortunately, is most things.

Hello, If you are seeing the same review on different sites, then my campaign is working. ALL BUYERS BEWARE! I recently purchased a JagWire road set from this Shop on Ebay. 1. I paid XBS for this item. 2. XBS gave me positive feedback. 3. XBS provided me a tracking number claiming the item was shipped. 4. XBS never actually shipped the item. 5. XBS claimed the item was out of stock after shipping said item 6. XBS forced a refund and relisted the same cable set for a higher price XBS is committing fraud or being dishonest with their customers at best. XBS should honor the original purchase agreements they make with their customers. XBS should realize that the internet can make or break your company. All those burned by XBS should continue to pursue actions against this company. It does not cost anything to write emails or to communicate to other bicycling consumers about how bad this company is. Do not do business with them. I worked at QBP in the past and am going to call my contacts there and make a request to have their account reviewed. There are other bicycle parts suppliers that do honest business and work to retain loyal customers. Please reconsider your Black Friday purchases from this company. Better-yet, boycott them all together. Please take a quick tour of the negative feedback on Amazon as well as eBay to see the horrible tendencies this company has with their customer service.

BEWARE!!! This store will sell you broken items, then refuse returns. They will blame you for breaking it before asking if it was installed by a certified bike shop. If an item can only be inspected after installation, how else would one know if it functions properly? In my case it was bearings for a hub. After installation. the wheel was spun, not ridden and had chattering noises, left to right play and stopped within very few rotations. That is three things a cartridge bearing is not meant to do. I do understand bearing need to brake in, these were beyond help. On top of that, they will consider an item used if you open the package. Meaning you cannot inspect the item at all. When I asked if I can return the unopened doubles of my order, they refused. I stated if 50% of my order is defective, it is not worth the gamble to open, and void the return to inspect the item. The customer service is the worst. absolutely rude, incompetent and does not no the meaning of" service". Take you money elsewhere. Thank goodness for Amazon, refunding my money.

WARNING!! This is a awful buisness to deal with. they are very dishonest and not trustworthy at all. I bought shifter set for my bike and it was delevered completly crushed and ruined. I contacted some fool who is the owner named Doug who was a real JERK. He told me that he would do nothing for me and the shifters were fine when they left his store, when clearly they were some damaged junk that he had laying around there that he was trying to pawn off on me.I did some research and found that this owner boxes up defective parts and sends them to people, he then gets friends to place positive reviews about his buisness to make it seem like he is honerable, when in reality he has a whole lot of real serious complaints filled about his store.Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from this buisness as you can. People in Kansas know all about this buisness and avoid it at all cost and YOU SHOULD TOO!

Worst local experience. Not the best way to make new customers. Moved to Coffeyville recently, 45 minutes away from the store. Called them up looking to get my wifes antique 1960 Schwinns bike tires replaced. Looking for professional help since Im having difficulty finding a good fit on my own. They apparently only service bikes they sell. When asked if they were busy today she said no but even if they werent working on anything they still wouldnt help me out with my wifes tires. I was told that I could buy the tires there if they had any in stock... But they would not help with any sizing or fitting. I told them a little customer service goes a long way toward making new customers. She was still polite but set on not helping a new potential customer. Totally not the business strategy I would expect from a small town business. Will be taking my cash to someone else out of town I guess.

These guys are the worst. Via Amazon, they showed an item "In Stock" with "XS/S" and shipped the wrong size. Because I need the item ASAP, I placed ANOTHER order and, again, it showed "XS/S" in stock. I contact them IMMEDIATELY AFTER I PLACED THE ORDER and said I needed them to please make sure they ship the correct size this time. They contact me and say they dont have that size and do I want to cancel the order. Before I can respond they SHIP THE ORDER and now WANT ME TO PAY FOR RETURN SHIPPING COSTS... These guys are a joke. Terribly run. What a bunch of scam artists who dont go an extra INCH for you, much less the extra MILE! So frustrating, ESPECIALLY WHEN I WAS THE ONE CONTACTING THEM(!!!) AHEAD OF TIME!

Made a purchase through Walmart. The most terrible online experience Ive ever had. I wanted to return items that didt fit. The link from Wal-Mart would not connect. I tried for 3 weeks to call. They had no answering machine and it just rang and rang. Finally a young woman answered. She told me there was no one available to help me, but she would have someone call me back. I never recd a call. I had to call my credit card company and get Wal-Mart involved to force a refund. I actually bought the item from another company in a smaller size and for less money. They were rude and unprofessional. I dont even want to give 1 star, but you cant post if you dont
