I am extremely disappointed with this store. I was so excited that Goodwill was coming to Fairfield because I love shopping at Goodwill in other towns. The problem with this store is that whoever is pricing the jeans, is doing so unfairly. I have seen name brand, and off brand like Mossimo from Target get marked at over $14 per pair. I have seen stained jeans get marked this high as well. When I shop at other Goodwill stores I do not see this. Also the furniture in Fairfield is alot higher priced than any other Goodwill store I have been to. If it was not for the pricing, I would rate this store much higher.

Some occasional good buys but more often than you would like things are not properly researched for competitive used pricing and are this way overpriced! I just tried to explain that to an employee there and he looked the thing up all wrong, using modern examples of this way out-of-date item for competitive prices. I just left rather than try to explain it to him any more. When I got home I found some examples on eBay that recently sold for $5-$10 for an item that Goodwill wanted $25 for. Its really very hard to find good items at Goodwill at all these days, and harder when theyre not properly priced.

Everything you would hope for in a Goodwill store. There is a wonderful difference in the feel of this place as compared to most other thrift stores. Namely, it doesnt feel like a basement and it doesnt smell like one either. You cant really critique selection, as all their stuff is donation, but it is very well organized and there is always a sale!

Saw a sleeping bag was going to get it and they told me the price tag on it was wrong even though they tagged it a put in shelf and wouldnt sell it at the price marked and its not like it was a buck or 2 it was like 15 bucks for something they got for free pisses me off

I stop in Goodwill every time Im in Fairfield, I have never had an issue, pricing is appropriate, some more valuable things like name brand are higher but I wouldnt expect to get a Coach purse for pennies!

Well-managed and maintained, very friendly staff, fantastic book selection, not too big, and the items are pretty well curated. Yay!
