I visited four departments and tried to catch wandering sales Personnel while in the store for an hour and a half today. I was in an electric cart and highly visible. I also can muster a booming voice and Im sure I Was Heard. I politely waited while sales helped others, but when it came to my turn they took off on a dead run or turn to others to help them and let me sit. Twice I tried to find the blinds Department. I needed to buy 17 blinds. A clerk in the paint department sent me down an aisle to a so-called desk which I never found. Although she had no customers she wasnt able to walk me the six or seven isles that it looked like she was pointing to. Im now entering Walmart to buy my blinds there. Electrical gave me attention after I sat in front of their desk for some time while they chit chatted with each other. Looking for a night light, one clerk asked me had I been there to see if there was a model that I wanted. I said I had been there but he took me back again and found for himself that it was not there. Then he took off I didnt know where. And I had not been helped. I always always always get good service at this store must have been a change in management during the day. Or maybe as usual the store manager is absent. I left with a few things in my cart that I decided not to buy because I had such poor service.

Was just at the store and there was a razor blade on the counter where my 4 year old picked it up. Thank goodness I grabbed it from him immediately and he wasnt hurt. I went to take it to a manager the only one I could find was at the front of the store. Dakota looked like he was just done being there for the day and wasnt really upset that an open razor was out. He brushed me off like I was an over reacting mother. I was just looking for a response like we will try to be more aware as we walk through isles or something. Really it doesnt take much. I found two other employees Christine and Rosa who were trying to re shelf things. They stopped what they were doing to locate where I found it. Called the department manager Jesse who located which camera it was and notified their store manager to start looking at cameras to see if it was an employee problem or customer. Now thats a reaction worth the danger of a razor being found. Clearly they all have children and Dakota doesnt realize the severity of that fear. Most of the time everyone is so helpful. Thank you to the three that went above and beyond in your efforts. Truly amazing staff members.

MAJOR INVENTORY MANAGEMENT PROBLEMS AT MENARDS. Twice in a row I got a ticket from the Service Counter, paid for the items, and then went to the Yard, only to find an empty spot where my purchase should be. Stockers in the yard roll their eyes and say it happens ALL THE TIME. Guy at the shack says I am the second person that day they sold non-existent Drywall to. Drywall and Cement Board available by the ton at Lowes (closer to me). People will soon realize they are wasting time at Menards and not go back if they cant figure this out.

They have some really nice and helpfully people.. I went in to buy 2 2x4s cut to 4 and 1 cut to 24". They sell these all ready cut but the bin was empty. So i went to a clerk who told me there would be a $2.00 charge for each cut. I told him I would go to Lowes who would cut it free. He shrugged his shoulders and walked away. I than went to another clerk and told him my story. He said Ill get them cut and carried them off. HE returned with my order. There are still people who will go out of their way to help.

Was good until I went to the mens room change my daughter. The employee swung the gate close when I was carrying, he looked back at me and kept walking. In the mens room the changing table is in the handicapped stall he turned looked at me hold my daughter, wipes, and the diaper. The stall before that one was open. So I had towait. Ended up not buying anything. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICES.

I was calling to see their prices on rekeying my locks and the gentlemen in the hardware department were very rude and not helpful. One hung up on me. One of the guys was very rude about the fact I called the wrong department. I had to call back over an hour to get my question answered part of the way.

I gave davenport menards a 1 because 0 wasnt an option. Seth at the guard gate is rude I have never been treated so badly anywhere before!!! You need to think about who you have talking to customers because he is not the one you should have!! Incompetent is a nice word for him!!!!

As of today I am done supporting this company and all chain stores at that! Davenport IA location worst customer service and terrible employee interactions! Normally I dont right reviews but enough is enough. Mom and pop shops from here on out for this guy!!

This has to be the largest Menards ever. I really like the fact that they have 15 minute parking spaces right in front of the store. Most affordable garden center in the area.

Menards Davenport Iowa staff is very helpful and is large is the stories its still fairly quick because they dont change everything all the time you can find it Ill be back
