Went in to buy some bottled water. Problem # 1: The product is in one liter bottles, and you can tell from the stacks of the stuff that they have in the store they sell a lot of it. So you would think that they would leave some packages with the plastic casing on for bulk buyers. Except no.. no they didnt. Go to pick up a carton of 12, and the whole thing disintegrates as Im trying to put it in the cart. Problem # 2: I get to the register, and corral the bottles back into the cartons so that the cashier can see how many of each to ring up. The cashier Lisa stops to explain to me how Im doing it wrong, and need put one out, and leave the rest in the package, because they come in packages. I explain that the carton disintegrated when I tried to pick it up, and that it would be more convenient for bulk customers if they would leave the plastic wrapping on. I dont appreciate catching passive aggression while trying to check out. So I think that at least this is over. Problem # 3: It is not over. I had placed a plastic divider between my order and the next customer. The cashier proceeds to pick up the plastic divider and start ringing up the next customers items on my still open credit card. I tell her to stop, and after three times she does. At this point I explain that I would like to speak to a manager. Have to ask for a manager twice. Manager Anthony comes over. I explain the situation. He tries to blow me off by telling me that the water is sold individually, after which I explain again that the Cashier Lisa is ringing up another customers items on my credit card. At this point, he finally does remove the other customers items from my card. I understand that being a cashier at Walmart is a hard, poorly paid job. But, I still think that theres no need to expose customers to passive aggressive behavior at the check out. And, I certainly think that cashiers should know better than to ring up other customers items on you credit card. I will be doing my shopping at the Aldis on McGalliard now. Better food, Better prices, Better service.

The people working in the tire center have a sadly lacking work-ethic. 1. Price quoted on the phone (57$)was not the price they wanted to charge me when I got there (67$ plus tax). 2. What should have taken 20 minutes .. .wasnt done in 1 hour and 20 minutes. In fact, they had not even started it. I had been 2nd in line when I dropped it off. However ... They left a gap in front of my "old van" and had been taking care of other "newer" vehicles that were arriving after mine. They were about to pull yet another vehicle around mine, when I returned. When I asked why they were doing that, I got no answer. Instead., the guy got in mine and pulled it into the bay. When I asked how long till the tire is changed .. he said "at least another 45 minutes"; even though my van was the one he was right-then starting to work on. 45 minutes to change a tire, from the beginning -to- the end of the physical process? What tire-changing method could take that long? Was he going to change it with his teeth? I told them "never mind" and had him pull my van back out of the bay. He did-so, and then walked away without a glance or a word. I doubt that Ill go back there (to the tire center) again, for many years. Anyways ... I called to speak with any member of management ... and was on hold for 16 minutes and 6 seconds ... and then was disconnected. after many negative experiences with this walmart, i have decided to forgo going to the muncie walmart at all. The tire center broke a part off of my brand new car, and then said it was my fault and refused to fix it which would cost an extra 70 dollars. I asked to speak with a manager to address the problem and after waiting an additional 2 hours ( atotal of 5 before i left), he still refused to fix the problem. Im pretty young, so excusably, my mother called (since the car is also in her name). and after threatening to sue them for the part and all the time wasted, they gave in and fixed it. On another account, i had called this walmart previously to ask if i could return something. AFter telling me that they would do so, the woman at the counter said they dont return these things ( a bottle of tequila- unopened) and gave me a hard time about it. AFter arguing with her for about 5 minutes, she called a manager who told her it was okay to return an unopened bottle of alcohol. These are only two examples of the awful customer service this walmart conveys. stay away from this place (go to noblesville, the people there are decent)

The customer service desk was infuriatingly incompetent. They made NO attempt to help me (a simple phone call from them to the necessary department would have sufficed), instead sending me running around the store and then - when they no longer had the item - suggesting I drive across town. Baffled and frustrated, I went back to the department and found its manager, Billy, who was incredibly polite and helpful and easily the best part of the whole experience. Customer service still tried to make the ordeal difficult after the assistance, partially because my cashier was incapable of doing anything on her own (seriously, I spent a lot of time in line today and not one transaction was completed without a question to one or two other employees). Muncie needs to get a Kroger so I dont have to deal with this nonsense again.

Great prices on just about everything. Employees are often friendly and if they dont know an answer to a question, theyll do their best to find one. There are a few downsides that come to mind about Walmart in general. Its very well-known for having people of all kinds. Often people who have... interesting appearances. The upside of this is that the place is fairly diverse and not judgemental. Also Walmart is known to have mass production of goods, and these products have to be made somewhere. More than likely the majority of products, that arent food, are made from another country such as China. This leads me to wonder what the working conditions of where these products are made, since they have to produce a TON. I can only hope that child labor doesnt pop up in the news one day. Though I wouldnt be surprised.

Sent money via walmart to walmart to my daughter. She picked it up at this store and they charged her $5.00 to recieve it??????? Really???? I already paid the fee to send it. Ive never had to pay a fee to recieve money. So they just conned my daughter out of $5.00 I talked to the manager and she said yes they charge $4.50 to recieve money. I asked her why lady at customer service desk kept $5.00 and didnt give 50 cents change to my daughter and she said yes $5.00. ?????? This manager and people working the customer service desk are fucktards who either dont know what their doing or they are a bunch of sleazy cons.
