I normally shop at Menards a lot and really love your rebate program, but I need to post this negative review due to an event that took place last week to my friend last week. My friend was checked out of Menards at Mishawaka after he brought $400 worth of construction stuff. His items were scanned by the checkout clerk since it was heavy items on a pallet cart. After exiting the store, the security stopped him and accused him of "stealing" an item worth $1.20 because the checkout clerk had missed to scan it. The security personnel was extremely rude to the customer and refused to believe that it was missed on the part of the checkout clerk. The manager was summoned and he did not do anything about it either. I believe this happened because my friend is not of American origin. This is the second time where I have heard of similar instance happening with a person of foreign origin. If Menards people are reading this, I am expecting you to apologize to this man for being so rude to him in front of other customers without checking the facts with the checkout clerk. I hope you make this right by him. I will definitely make sure to share my experience with everyone I know.

Placed a $800 online order for multiple items. Payed the extra $ 60 price to have the stores employees go around and pull my order. The only reason i did this was that week i was extremely busy and did not have time to spend an hour and a half locating every item. When placing order online they specified someone would call me next day to let me know when my order was ready. After four days of not hearing from Menards i called and was informed they forgot to call. First off, this "online ordering system " saves no time. I had to wait 45 minutes until someone could help me and then they were so confused which one my order was. Will be returning to Lowes.

Menard Southside south bend might as well close the door. .on seven of the last nine trips there I had to go down the street to Lowes for simple everyday construction items that were "out of stock" shelf empty. ..seems pointless to waste my valuable time stopping there. .they did have a full shelf of barbecue sauce and cat food, but as a professional contractor that does not help me complete my job and get paid

Not very happy staff member (not many smiles) however the store had what I wanted and more. The items I went for were of a reasonable price and most were on clearance. I enjoyed walking around the store and seeing all the options they had. everything from house wear, to clothes, to cleaning supplies, to dog food, and patio furniture. I would recommend going there and I would go again.

Renting a truck for an hour has been an extremely unpleasant ordeal. Had to leave work twice and run over to Menards because of their "first come first serve" policy, only to find that the truck had been taken. They refused to call us when the truck was returned, although one employee did eventually. Extremely unhelpful, unapologetic guest service center!

Good place to shop and friendly staff. Only 4/5 because the company they use for delivery is a JOKE. If you have big ordera that need delivered try and just get it all yourself. The menards staff is very good they just need to switch the company that dose delivery.

Would be 5☆ if they returned the military discount. Best selection of lighting and doors. Well organized bathroom fixtures, hardware, tools, cleaning supplies etc. Best selection of LED light bulbs, closet organizers, insulation and decking materials!

Great selection and prices. Clean store. Everything was well organized on the shelves. Had to wait a while for an employee to help with a custom order. When I called to check on order was put on hold for over 15 min.

This was my second trip to Menards and it was as great as I remembered -- a handymans heaven. Aisle after aisle of supplies and tools to make the job go better and faster. Wish we had a Menards in our hometown.

Every single time I go into this store they always walk me to the item I want. Other places just point me to the other side of the store to some aisle. They have me as a customer for life!!!!!
