This is one of the better Walmarts as far as selection goes, and for the most part, the staff is friendly and helpful, especially in electronics. It looses points for the bathrooms. The front bathrooms are in constant disarray. The faucets rarely work, they are always out of paper towels, toilets are always disgusting, and the urinals rarely work. I always see them blocked off for cleaning, but I never see them clean. It is unsanitary, and unhealthy. The back bathrooms are a little bit better, and the store itself looks great, but the front bathrooms have been horrible since I moved to the area 5+ years ago(and probably much longer). Also one of the Cashiers signed me up for a credit card without my knowledge because I tried paying with a debit card and she said she needed info off of my ID to verify my card, which she used to sign me up for a credit card because she didnt actually know how to run her register. It took several calls over the course of months to cancel the card which Walmart made me take up with Discover. On a side note, its also kind of sad to see that no restaurant moved in when McDonalds moved out. The only reason I give it 3 stars is the great prices and the fact that I still shop here all the time.

Having come from a family that had its roots in Madison retail, watching what Walmart has done to my community is actually sickening. Retail-wise in this town there is Walmart, Kroger, Aldis, and Ruler. Besides $8.80 an hour jobs, Walmart does very little to support this community. Right now in this town there is nowhere to have a watch battery installed, or color copy made. Everyday I see a Brinks armored truck take Madison money to Bentonville Arkansas. Like every other resident of Jefferson County, I basically HAVE to shop at Walmart, because there are no other choices. Walmart needs competition in this town, right now they have a "take what we have or you get nothing" attitude. Products disappear from the shelves and the freezers, and Associates respond when you ask them where a certain product is"we have no control over what we have they just send us products".

Was a regular, But WILL NOT shop here again! Regardless of the deals and cheap prices, I would not recommend this wal-mart to anyone! 1. Horrible Customer service. 2. Bad with exchanging and refunding: a. Was charged for 17 heads of lettuce, only bought 1 Madison Indianas wal-mart customer service response: "we cannot refund your money because it is past the date of refund." Seriously 17 heads of lettuce? b. Bought a fish tank and after 3 weeks of having it the pump goes out Madison Indianas customer service response: "We cant take it back because it was only warranted for two weeks." After talking with 5 RUDE customer representatives I don’t even care about the fish tank… I would rather not have to deal with the hassle of trying to get an exchange or refund and lose out on the money I spent on the fish tank. Not worth my time

Problem with corporate policy to allow employees to work even when hands cut and bleeding. Blood should not be on fingertips handling electronic merchandise, running cash registers or working on finding band aids etc. Once hurt employees need to doctor their wounds in a First Aid station but management said that is not store or corporate concern. It is handy. It is a Wal Mart. They are skimping on staff and work cashiers til exhaustion withou breaks and manditory overtime. Management chastizes employees in front of customers in rude, loud and sarcastic tone of voice. The cashiers do the best they can. Dont expect a thank you for your purchase. Change gets nearly thrown back at you with a grmble that swiping cards is easier. It is a money making corporation abusing emploees

they dont price match anything at this location........ I would not bother trying to use other store prices they wont honor a price match for the lowest price one may find in town even though you might have the advertisement with you. PRICE MATCH at this store is a JOKE. I feel people need to boycott this store and close it down. THEY HAVE LOST A CUSTOMER WITH WHAT THEY DID TO ME TODAY.

It has almost anything you are looking for from food, drinks, clothing, furniture, music, videos, video games, workout equipment, sports products of all sorts, hunting, fishing, home décor, anything for auto work or maintenance, ect. Their bathrooms are clean. Very large parking area. They have a atm, bank and phone store inside. You also have the choice of self check out or have someone at a register to check you out.

Walmart is Walmart. They never have enough lines open, the staff (apart from the greater) will not talk to you [which is a perk some days]. They have a good selection of food products you cant get elsewhere in the community. additionally they have simple clothing items you cant find elsewhere. Walmart is a huge part of the community, while it is a struggle most days, our community would be lost without it.

I hate going here. As usual it disappointed me. The girl running the deli completely ignored me. I was the only one there. As I walked away I wondered why I had went there. And there was only 3 checkout lanes open and self checkouts were full. This is what happens when a company thats too big to care comes to town and drives the small local stores out. Well, you wont see me in here for a long time.

No one is usually in the Money Center!!! You have to find someone but they do work short, but now say they will no longer hire people that have worked there before. A lot of the younger associates complain to customers about their job! Never enough open registers during peak hours!

Never any registers open, especially after 10pm its like one register literally. You cant just go in and out in 10 minutes. Its always longer. They do sell mostly everything your looking for. Thats about the only good thing about the store. & probably the only reason I go there.

This Walmart is in need of a modernization. Its got all the things you expect in a Walmart, but its just a bit dated. The staff here tend not to be cheery or helpful, and the store is usually a mess. Its a great place to see The People of Walmart™.

More self checkouts dont do anything but take away jobs. The biggest reason I avoid Walmart is because I normally stand in the checkout line for at least 15 minutes. You have the registers. Schedule the workers and OPEN THE REGISTERS!!!!!!!

Never enough registers open and you can almost never find anyone to help you find what youre looking for. Its usually easier, by far, to search for whatever it is your looking for than to find someone that can tell you where to look

This Walmart is one of the nicer Walmarts I would give 5 stars but they do not Comp there competitors prices anymore. Which is a Mangers decision not corporates because Greensburg Walmart still Comps their competitors prices.
