Love the variety of choices that are available in this shop as it is a wonderful place to find a unique and cherished gift for someone that you just cant find anywhere else except perhaps the Internet. Creativity surrounds the small shop and you find yourself imagining more for yourself as you go round looking at things. Five stars was not given because the young and eclectic staff are mostly friendly but some were rude and bossy to others shopping over silly things like where to stand in line. Also there were so many staff present that it was very difficult to get around as the store is small and I believe they were meant to ensure no one was doing anything wrong. With the shop being so small it was very easy to hear the comments made by all staff. I was shopping at the height of holiday gift giving season, so perhaps the staff issue was only seasonal.

Great little shop located on Mass Ave in downtown Indy. This is a must visit for anything and everything Indiana. Tons of locally made products as well as some more main stream items as well. The shop has goodies in every corner of the store. I always have to check out the magnet section for some fun and quirky addition to my fridge. The one side of the store is all the local Indiana items, as well as some more main stream items. The other side of the store is locally made jewelry from rings, necklaces, earrings, etc. Really cool stuff and really unique stuff as well. The staff is very friendly and fun to engage with. Theyre all so unique that its interesting to hear what they have to say about different products and just about topics in general. Always a treat when I visit this store...and as always its great to be able to support a local business.

Just take my money!!! Seriously, this is the FIRST place I check out when going to Mass. Ave. They have all of the cutest, most random things you wouldnt think of! I also love how they have a bunch of Indiana gear, stickers, beer cap holders in the shape of Indiana. Its just cool! Love profanity doo bobs? Theyve got it. I got this fantastic pencil case with some choice words on it XD (I added a picture of it :)) Not your thing? Thats okay too, because they have so much to offer. Check out all the photos of this business, and you will see how interesting it can get!

Fart lip gloss. Mini terrariums with gold dinosaurs inside. Socks covered in bacon strips. Cookbooks for couples. Stationary with the coolest designs in all the land. Yep, just a glimpse of what youll find at Silver in the City on Mass Ave. Set aside a half hour to explore the ever-changing inventory. I often leave with a smile on my face or some sort of creative juices flowing. Fun fact: Yelps data team pulled the top 50 rated gift shops in the country and Silver in the City was 10th! Not my shop but Im beaming with pride.

The staff there are very helpful in helping you find what you need. They have a lot of silver jewelry from artisans around the US. Silver in the City also carries fun items like a "Big Blue Whale Strainer", a cup for tea with a manatee poking its head out, and many cards for any occasion. They have a section that has clothing and they sell items that are made out of the old RCA dome top.

One of my favorite shops in Indy! The staff is super friendly and inviting to all people that walk through their doors! If you are looking for some fun local gifts this is a great spot. They also have a section of locally made jewelry that is nice. There are plenty of fun gag gifts here as well as home decor perfect for anyone that loves the urban lifestyle!

Very very cool place. They have a lot of Indianapolis, and Indiana goods. Plus they just have cool gifts in general. Some of their jewelry is pretty cool too, and I find it neat that a lot, if not all of it, is made locally. Id definitely recommend checking it out, because they have a lot of interesting gift ideas.

Great boutique for unique and/or local gifts! Most items are reasonably priced, but some of the local items can be expensive (as artisan made items usually are). They have a nice selection of jewelry, too! I love to pop in when Im hanging out on Mass Ave to see whats new, and I always go here for one-of-a-kind gifts.

This place is the best place to go for beautiful, hand-made jewelry. All other jewelry stores are lifeless and cold. Just walking into other places makes me feel like copper pennies taste - not good. Silver in the city makes me happy when I visit and the staff is friendly and helpful - even to old folks.

A nice place to pick up some locally made goods, but it seems like the mark up is enormous. If you want to support local businesses and have sufficient means, this is a great place. Otherwise you might be better off purchasing from those businesses directly.

Fun shop with great gift like items. The range of items include jewelry, clothing, home goods, gag gifts, and trendy items like Dr. Who mugs. I found gifts here for things like office parties and hard to shop for people. The gift cards can be very fun.

Adorable local shop with great knick knacks, gifts, decor, and more! An amazing shop to just wander around in. There are so many little things inside that make perfect gifts for others and maybe even yourself! The staff was very respectful and helpful!

Very cool place. Ive gotten three necklaces, earrings, and sunglasses there. Staff is very friendly and helpful. A lot of the items are overpriced, although I suppose that is common for places like this.

Fantastic gift shop. High quality goods, great selection. You can do quite a bit of holiday shopping here, especially for smaller gifts, and find some gems for your white elephant gift exchanges.
