Walked out after having never received our meal (after watching those seated after us enjoying their food). A meal which consisted of a grilled chicken salad and baked potato and a grilled fish with broccoli and carrots. Nothing overly difficult. Should have known it was going to be poor when there was a list waiting to be seated but more than enough empty tables in the dining room. NEVER had such a poor experience at a Cracker Barrel before.

As another reviewer noted food varies by location. We will never return to the Greenfield location as portions are noticeably smaller than other locations and this was not a one time incident.. but when the floor manager explained "profit margins" to me as I showed him my sparce plate of food ... that did them in for me. We used to eat there on a regular basis but never again. Now drive out of the way to Shelbyville or Anderson.

This place has an abundance of stupid. I have ordered many times from this restaurant and my carry out order has never been correct, not even once. Additionally, depending on who you speak with, sometimes items can be substituted and sometimes they cannot. Management here is also a joke. Would not recommend ordering carry out from this restaurant.

Never been but will be back food was great Ashton was our server she was awsome she is on top of eveything. Didnt have to ask for refills, food was hot and very tasty. And she checked back to make sure eveything was ok i havent had this good of a server in a long time and I should know I used to be one. Thank you again

The food was good, but my husband & I had to share our sausage gravy, which was very little. They gave us one serving of fried apples. Both of our meals included the gravy & apples. I did ask for another fried apples & the waitress did bring it. My husband said the mens restroom is rather gross.

Service was very slow. Meat portions were very small. Dumplings were cold. My roast beef was mostly fat what little there was of it. Peach cobbler had a scoop of ice cream but very little cobbler. Paying bill was a disaster. Worst experience of our many, many times at Cracker Barrel.

Great food and friendly staff from what Ive experienced. Depending on the time you eat service could be a little slower than usual. I feel like the prices are a little high for the portion of food you get, but its not terrible.

I did not know that cracker barrel food varied from one location to another. It does and this one is on the low end. Thinnest chicken fried chicken I have ever seen. The location on post road further west on i 70 much better.
