Ok,well most of the time i get soooo sooo sooo many great deals!!!!! But sometimes and i just mean sometimes there just way to expensive.... But if i was like a person that people would listen to id say yes every single person in troy il should go to dollor general. Cause i can get mostly anything there like snacks food gift cards beauty prouducts everything. But my only hatred in the dollar general is there bathroom dirty once i found a dead beetle..... And where they have the bathrooms they load all the packeges or like chips snakcs everything tbst comes in a package is in that room and in that room its just awful!! But my absolute fav thing is the employees there sooo soo very nice and take there time with you! And everytime you by something they start conversations. Well thats all i have for my experiences in dollor general!!! Hope everyone thats reading this is going to be going to dollar general soon!!!!!!

Higher Management needs to stop pushing their employees to be out the door at closing time because the employees get upset when there is a long check out line before closing time. I asked why they were so upset and I was told that if they are not ready to close by 10 pm, they get in trouble....I did not feel that they should be held accountable for making money at 9:45 instead of sweeping! For this reason I only go there out of convenience but they are too bound by their protocols and it effects their business, they dont get mine like they were! They bag heavy items in tiny thin bags and tonight my Pepsi fell right out on the floor. They are told to not double bag anything.

This store was filthy. I tried to take my four year old to the restroom and there was no paper in there at all. The restrooms looked like they had not been maintained all day. The cashier said that the managers are females and they dont like to maintain the mens room. I advised her that the only roll of paper was on the floor in the ladies room and she indicated that was a customers problem and not hers. No more Troy Dollar General business for this guy

They carry a lot of household essentials. Snacks, dry goods, paper products, cleaning supplies, pet products, clothes and shoes for men, women, and children. Also, pharmacy items. Personal cleaning items soaps, shampoos, body washes, various hair care. Very easy to find the items you need. Aisles are narrow. Staff is friendly.
