I myself did not have this experience, but my fiance last night did. He went when we had both gotten,off of a hard day at work around 7:30 which he knew was near closing time but we needed groceries so he went. He was hurrying as best he could with the list I sent him there with but was having trouble finding a few items because this is a new store in our area. He asks a the manager for some help and the manager says, "Oh give me a sec." And then disappears. So my fiance goes back to shopping without help. A little bit later my fiance was having difficulty locating taco sauce and sees the manager again and asks for help. The manager says, "let me look in the back" and just doesnt come back yet again wasting the few minutes my fiance even had to shop. So he goes back to shopping and then out of no where that same manager AGAIN pops up, grabs my fiances cart, and starts pulling it to the registers saying, " its time to go. You have to be done because were closing. If you dont come I wont let you check out." My fiance is stunned and says Im going to finish my list and then Ill be up there as quickly as possible it will only take 5 minutes. After my fiance finishes his shopping and goes to check out hes being bullied by this manager complaining about my how he wants to get home, hes never seen a slower shopper, and that my fiance needed to hurry up and bag his own groceries quickly so this so called manager could go eat. Ive never seen my fiance come home so upset and just over groceries. Needless to say if we ever do decide to come back it will be me going and I wont hesitate to tell that man what I think.
