I ordered flowers for a funeral close to this shop. They seemed very nice on the phone and promised to do a great job. I was unable to attend but my neice did and said ours was the worst arrangement - very small and almost dead flowers. She even took a picture and sent it to me. When I called and complained, they said, "Tough - what are you going to do about it, you are in California." and hung up on me. For the price we paid, we should have gotten a much better arrangement. It was very embarrasing for us and we apologized to the widow. She said no one at the funeral will ever use Char-Lor flowers again. Nor, will I. This flower shop will rip you off if you are not right there watching them.

Received very disappointing flowers for Valentines Day. The flowers had very short stems (almost like they were remnants). The roses had brown tips and the Gerber Daisys were very small and had black dots all over them. They were crammed into a vase with lilys over taking the arrangement. I called Heather and Vine to express my disappointment only to be told "Our flowers are fresh and are made from a set menu". "those roses are suppose to have brown edges" ?red roses with brown edges?. The flowers bad, but the staff was worse. Please note when reading reviews the 5 star comes from one of the owners.

Heather & Vine (formally Cha-Lor flowers) is new to social media. This one and only review has saddened us. The designers at the shop would never be so rude. Our flowers are shipped to us daily and our designs range from traditional to custom. ChaLor was purchased in August, 2013 by two of the designers and renamed. The owner is spoiled of making easy money from the high end clientele in Burr Ridge and wouldnt do a bouquet with me bringing my own roses which cost $150 thru Sams Club for 125 stems and they offered to sell it to me for over $500 (with a discount:), they used to charge me over $120 couple times prior just for the arrangement, and now refused to do it for any price, luckily found a place near by that did it for $40, will never go back again

I did not know what to order for my wife. The ladies at Heather & Vine were delighted to help me paint my canvas. They asked a few simple questions like did I know what flowers I wanted (no), or what colors does your wife like, and what my budgets was. Well those are easier questions. The results were fabulous. Super fresh flowers, and the touch of master designers. I was a king! Thank you ladies! ILL BE BACK!
