Ruler Foods basically is Krogers version of Aldi. Its a no-frills shopping experience, offering mostly store-brand items, with the end goal of saving you money. Youll need to bring a quarter to release a shopping cart. (Your quarter will be returned to you when you return your cart.) Youll also need to bring your own shopping bags as youll be bagging your own groceries. You might not be able to do all of your shopping here, but its a great place for basics like milk (less than $2 per gallon on my most recent visit in April 2016) and non-perishable goods. The store even offers a small selection of produce, meat, and frozen items. Again, most everything is a Kroger brand. In my opinion, Aldi is better. However, I actually live in Missouri. Im not sure if there is an Aldi near here, but as someone who grew up with Kroger, its kind of nice to visit a Krogeresque store now that Kroger has left the area.

They didnt have a very wide variety of foods and such. And they charge you to get a grocery cart which we didnt prepare for so we had to carry it by hand then they charge you for each bag to carry out our groceries sand they had a table in the back for you to bag your own stuff so at least they let us borrow a cart so that way we could dump everything into our trunk to let it all roll around I would not suggest this to anyone anywhere thanks but Im going back to Walmart

Rulers is a lower cost of groceries for those that are looking to save some money. Rulers is owned and operated by Krogers using their branded foods as opposed to name branded. The quality is tremendous and improving all the time. The only downside is that some of the branded foods may not always be available all the time.

Have a great selection of groceries and they are cheap!! I think they may have Aldis beat on many items! I really like the Kroger name anyway so I do a lot of shopping here!

No frills for sure but the prices are great. Mostly Kroger Brand but there are some name brands. Could be a little faster at checkout, but its a small price to pay.

Very nice and clean. The ales are nice and wide. Prices are good. The shelves are well stocked. The meats and vegetables are nice and fresh. Love shopping there.

Rulers is the only place I go shopping! Cheaper than wal-mart and you are getting more bang for your buck! I would recommend this place to anyone!
