They have the worst pharmacy tech. She conveniently does not wear a name tag. She is a horrible human being. She seems to work the weekend toward closing time for the Walgreens. The first time, My wife called and set up the pick up for the meds, so all I had to do was pick it up. It was close to closing time for the pharmacy, I waited at least 10 minutes to be waited on. I gave her my wifes name and she repeatedly says there is nothing in the system. I give her date of birth, still nothing in the system. On top of that, her attitude is as if Im the one at fault. After failing to get the medicine my wife needs, my wife calls and speaks to the same person and she insistently blames me for the error and has attitude about it. I was so pissed, I called the manager and royally chewed his ass out. He had no problem finding the medicine but, the pharmacy was closed, so I could not go back and pick it up. She had no intention of doing her job. This happened over a month ago. Now its 8/13, my wife has strep throat and needs anti-biotics. The docs office calls in the script. I pull up to the drive thru and guess who it is! It is half hour before closing and she cant find the f-ing script. While I am in drive thru I had my wife call the docs office to double check. While I am waiting on the reply, I tell the tech I am going to come inside. While I am walking inside, I get confirmation the docs office sent it and resent it. I get to the counter, the doc on duty gives me the greeting and at the same time the horrible tech shows her face and I said I was just talking to the tech and the tech interrupts me and re-checks the system and wouldnt you know it, she finds the f-ing script. I guess she cant look bad in front of the doc. She says "they have to fill it" and walks away. That meant she had to fill it because I watched her fill it. While I watch her, she was laughing. She needs to be fired because she is messing with peoples well being and walgreens is all about being well but not in the case with her. She would be a perfect fit for the DMV. I am switching to another pharmacy. I am just beside myself at the level of arrogance and I would expect she is not the only one. I am sure it is the culture of the pharmacy of Walgreens. She definitely needs to be the sacrificial lamb to shake up the other employees to act right. Dont worry I wont hold my breath. I guess that is what happens when Walgreens is to big to care about the customers who they are in business to serve.

This is a bad store.. SLOW . They never follow through when issues come up with insurance and covered medication.t he pharmacy hours suck too. I switched to the Carol Stream store for a while but decided to go to CVS as Walgreens has No idea what customer service is.they are always understaffed causing the employees to be overloaded with work.

Some pharmacy staff there arent too helpful. They tell you they dont know and show no initiative in figuring out an answer.
